A portable insulated beverage brewing device 10 for liquids and gravity fed method for brewing. A device 10, with lid 14 and vessel 12, may house insulation 52A and 52B, liner reservoir 50A and 50B, and filter 28 to brew hot or cold liquids and contain hot or cold liquids for controlled dispensing 26. A large capacity filter 28 secures inside the vessel 12 accepting brew mixtures for gravity fed brewing method.
Brewing machine
The present invention provides a brewing machine, including: a brewing container, a valve device with a timer function, a timer and a seat frame. The brewing container is mounted on the valve device for brewing tea. The valve device is placed on the seat frame, and is capable of switching between a blocking position and an opening position. The timer can be used to set a brewing time. When the pre-set brewing time is up, the timer will switch the valve device to the opening position, so the brewed tea may flow into a container placed on the seat frame from the brewing container through the valve opening. With the brewing machine of the present invention, the over brewing situations which may cause the bitterness in the taste of the brewed tea can be prevented, and the convenience of the tea brewing process is also improved.
Methods of controlled heating and agitation for liquid food or beverage product creation
Methods of controlled heating and/or agitation for liquid food or beverage product creation are disclosed. A method of producing a melted food or beverage liquid product includes receiving a receptacle containing frozen liquid contents in a chamber of a dispenser and identifying a characteristic of the receptacle and/or the contents. The method also includes melting at least a portion of the contents by selectively performing at least one of: heating the receptacle and/or the contents, supplying a dilution liquid to an interior of the receptacle, and/or applying motion to the receptacle and/or the contents in the receptacle. The selectively performing at least one of heating, supplying dilution liquid, and/or applying motion is based on the identified characteristic. The method further includes perforating the receptacle and dispensing the melted food or beverage liquid product from the receptacle.
METHOD, DEVICE AND CAPSULE FOR BREWING A BEVERAGE
A method of preparing a tea beverage in a brewing device is provided, the device comprising an infusion chamber with a bottom rim which defines an opening; a capsule holder for receiving a capsule, the capsule holder comprising a filter and an openable and closable passage; the method comprising: inserting a capsule into the capsule holder; connecting the capsule holder to the infusion chamber; introducing liquid into the capsule so that the liquid and tea material mix and flow into the infusion chamber and brew the beverage; and then opening the passage to allow the beverage to flow from the infusion chamber through the filter and out through the passage. A capsule containing tea material for use in the method is also provided, the capsule comprising a body part, which is a single, impermeable piece which defines a cavity with a volume of from 10 to 24 cm.sup.3.
Beverage production method and devices
The present invention provides a method, a device and a system for preparing a beverage from an extractable product, such as ground coffee. Said device is provided with a receptacle (2) having an inlet for the extractable product and an outlet (3) for the extracted beverage. The method includes the steps of: providing said extractable product into the receptacle (2); closing off completely the outlet of the receptacle (2); providing a pressurized fluid, such as water and/or water vapor, through the inlet on and/or in the extractable product, thereby pre-extracting the extractable product in the closed receptacle; and opening the outlet (3) when a predetermined threshold, such as a volume, pressure or time related threshold, is reached, thereby obtaining the extracted beverage.
BREW BASKET WITH ADJUSTABLE FLOW RATE
A brew basket includes a body defining an internal cavity for holding a quantity of a beverage component, such that, in use, water introduced into the internal cavity contacts and passes through the beverage component to produce a brewed beverage. The brew basket further includes an outlet orifice for the brewed beverage defined by a downward extension of the brew basket. A cap engages the downward extension of the brew basket, with an opening defined through a bottom wall of the cap. A gasket is received in the cap, and a thickness of the gasket determines a position of the cap relative to the downward extension of the brew basket, and thus determines a flow rate of the brewed beverage from the outlet orifice through the opening defined through the bottom wall of the cap.
SYSTEMS FOR AND METHODS OF CONTROLLED LIQUID FOOD OR BEVERAGE PRODUCT CREATION
Systems for and methods of controlling liquid food or beverage product creation are disclosed. A dispenser for producing a food or beverage liquid product from a frozen contents in a receptacle includes a chamber configured to hold the receptacle and a non-diluting heater configured to heat the receptacle and/or the frozen contents within the receptacle; the non-diluting heater does not add liquid to an interior of the receptacle. The dispenser also includes a reservoir configured to contain a liquid. The reservoir includes a reservoir outlet configured to withdraw liquid from the reservoir. The dispenser further includes a product outlet configured to withdraw a food or beverage liquid product from the receptacle and a controller that causes the dispenser to selectively perform at least one of: heating at least one of the receptacle and the frozen contents using the non-diluting heater and withdrawing liquid from the reservoir through the reservoir outlet.
SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLED HEATING AND AGITATION FOR LIQUID FOOD OR BEVERAGE PRODUCT CREATION
Systems for controlled heating and/or agitation for liquid food or beverage product creation are disclosed. A dispenser for producing a food or beverage liquid product from a frozen contents in a receptacle includes a chamber configured to hold a receptacle containing the contents and a dilution liquid inlet configured to supply a dilution liquid to the interior of the receptacle. The dispenser also includes a perforator configured to perforate the receptacle and form a product outlet from the receptacle for the liquid product and an agitator configured to impart motion to the receptacle and/or the contents in the receptacle that increases a flow path from the liquid inlet to the product outlet taken by at least a portion of dilution liquid, when supplied, relative to a flow path from the liquid inlet to the product outlet taken by the portion of dilution liquid without the imparted motion.
