Method and system for controlling robot arm for performing coffee drip
A method of controlling a robot arm for performing coffee drip includes: an arrangement checking operation of checking an arrangement of a dripper, a coffee powder container, a cup, and a kettle; a coffee powder providing operation of, when the arrangement of the cup is sensed, gripping the coffee powder container and providing a coffee powder contained in the coffee powder container to the dripper, by using the robot arm; a dripping operation of, when the coffee powder is provided to the dripper, gripping the kettle and performing a drip operation using any one of a plurality of predetermined methods, by using the robot arm; and a discharging operation of, when the dripping operation is completed, gripping the cup and transferring the cup to a discharge position.
Coffee making appliance for brewing coffee
A coffee making appliance includes a housing having a base for supporting a container configured to receive brewed coffee, a reservoir for receiving water to be heated, a hopper configured to receive a quantity of whole coffee beans, the hopper having an outlet, a vertically-oriented burr grinder positioned adjacent to the outlet of said hopper, the grinder being configured to transform the whole coffee beans into coffee grounds, a filter removably received by the housing for receiving the coffee grounds from the grinder, a pump configured to supply water from the reservoir to the filter, and a driving mechanism configured to rotate the filter while the water is supplied to the filter to cause the water to pass radially through the coffee grounds to produce the brewed coffee.
Brewing chamber with dynamic water dispersion
A brewing material holder includes a spinning assembly for uniformly dispersing water into brewing material. The spinning assembly may be attached to a removable holder lid or reside in the base of the holder. When water is pumped into the holder, the flow of water is sprayed into brewing material contained in the brewing chamber. On one embodiment, water is pumped into the brewing material holder, and the flow of water causes the spinning assembly to spin by the water flowing past gears or a propeller, or by tangential jets on the spinning member. In another embodiment, the coffee maker includes a rotating shaft engaging the brewing material holder to cause the spinning assembly to spin, or may include stator winding creating a rotating magnetic field in the brewing chamber to cause the spinning assembly to spin.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BREWING BEVERAGES
Apparatus and methods are provided for brewing a beverage from precursor particulates. The apparatus comprises a liquid delivery system for delivering liquid into a brewing basket. The liquid delivery system comprises a showerhead disposed above at least a portion of the brewing basket. The showerhead has a plurality of outlet openings through which liquid flows outward from the showerhead into the brew basket. At least two of the outlet openings are oriented to direct the flow of liquid out of the showerhead at least in part transversely of the brew basket.
Reciprocating coffee filter
A reciprocating coffee filter and method is shown. One embodiment provides a coffee maker including a housing to receive a filter basket, a coffee filter basket to receive a coffee filter, and a reciprocation assembly connected to the housing and the coffee filter basket, the reciprocation assembly to oscillate a filter basket during a brewing process. Another embodiment provides a method for filling a coffee filter within a filter basket with coffee grounds, pouring hot water on the coffee grounds to brew the coffee, and oscillating the filter basket to increase coffee ground and hot water interaction while brewing.
Extraction bag
A tea bag type extraction bag to obtain extraction liquid includes bag main body formed of water permeable filter sheet, pair of thin plate-like members provided on outer surfaces of two opposing faces of bag main body; and extraction material filled in bag main body. Respective outer surfaces of bag main body, thin plate-like member includes upper edge portion attached to upper part of bag main body, gripping portion continuous with upper edge portion via fold line and extends from fold line toward lower edge of bag main body, and leg portion extending from upper edge of bag main body toward lower edge of bag main body. Upper edge of upper edge portion is flush with upper edge of bag main body, and gripping portion is able to be folded upward along fold line so that leading end part thereof projects from upper edge of bag main body.
