Pressurized brewing, gas-infusion, and dispensing machine
An integrated device including a vessel, a gas reservoir, a pressure regulation device, a primary filter, and a tap assembly. The vessel is configured to contain a beverage. The gas reservoir is configured to supply pressurized gas within the vessel. The pressure regulation device is configured to maintain an infusing pressure within the vessel and also a dispensing pressure within the vessel. The primary filter is configured to hold solid brewing media, to fit inside the vessel, and to be removable from the vessel. The tap assembly is configured to dispense the beverage from the vessel. Methods are also disclosed.
Dosing tool
A coffee dose adjustment tool has interchangeable or adjustable blades for adjustment of the coffee fill height within a portafilter dosing tool.
MODULAR RECONFIGURABLE MANUALLY ACTUATED ESPRESSO MACHINE
The present invention is directed to an apparatus for producing coffee, espresso for instance, with the capability to be modularly reconfigured for operation as a manual lever operated espresso machine, or alternatively configured as a spring lever operated espresso machine, preferably without the use of specialized tools or the removal or replacement of major components from operational use.
Method and device for providing a coffee beverage with reduced terpene content
A method and apparatus provides a coffee beverage having a reduced terpene content, where a brew chamber has a brew area A is provided and a volume of water is provided to flow through the coffee grounds in the brew chamber and out of the brew chamber to provide a coffee beverage, and where the flow rate of water provided through coffee grounds in the brew chamber is F and the ratio of F/A is about 0.15 cm/s or less.
Cold-brew coffee brewing system and cold-brewing method
A cold-brew coffee brewing system has a brew tank assembly supported in an elevated position by a tank support structure. A fluid-permeable support structure is removable from below the interior volume of a tank body for accessing the interior volume to remove used coffee grounds. A swing arm assembly supported by the tank support structure facilitates convenient support and movement of the fluid permeable support structure under a load of used coffee grounds in the interior volume of the tank body. A cold-brewing method for preparing cold-brew coffee may use the cold-brew coffee brewing system.
Coffee or Tea Brewing Apparatus
A coffee or tea brewing apparatus comprising a hollow cylinder with top and bottom openings, a permeable filter, a filter retaining ring which attaches to the bottom end of the hollow cylinder and encloses the bottom opening of the hollow cylinder with the permeable filter, a support ring to support the hollow cylinder above an open vessel, and a flexible lid. Coffee grounds or tea leaves are mixed with water inside the hollow cylinder which will then drain through the removable filter effectively separating any liquids into an open vessel while retaining undissolved solids within the hollow cylinder. The flexible lid may be used to enclose the top of the hollow cylinder and pressed on to produce a positive air pressure within the filter assembly to force the liquid through the permeable filter when a faster flow rate is desired.
IMPROVED FILTER HOLDER FOR COFFEE MACHINES
The invention concerns filter holder for coffee machines comprising a substantially cylindrical body, inside which a perforated filter (14) is provided, the cylindrical body forming a cup-shaped container (12) for containing coffee powder, the filter holder (10) further comprising identification means for identifying the type of filter holder (10), characterized in that said identification means for identifying the type of filter holder (10) comprise at least one diametral magnet whose diametral orientation can be detected outside the filter holder (10). The invention further concerns a coffee machine and a grinder for coffee beans usable with the filter holder (10).
Dispensing group for an espresso coffee machine with frontal insertion of the filter holder
A dispensing group for an espresso coffee machine is described. The group comprises: a coffee boiler configured to contain pressurized hot water; a supply duct for feeding hot water under pressure towards a puck of coffee powder; and a filter-holder support comprising guides (30) which form at least one sliding surface for slidably supporting a filter holder, wherein said filter-holder support is rotatable between a first position for inserting the filter holder and a second dispensing position and wherein said dispensing group comprises a mechanical locking device for locking the filter-holder support in the second dispensing position.
COFFEE EXTRACTION ASSEMBLY AND COFFEE BOX FOR COFFEE MACHINE
A coffee extraction assembly and a coffee box are provided. The coffee extraction assembly includes an elastic filter tray and a drip tray. The elastic filter tray is disposed above the drip tray. The drip tray is provided with an extraction groove and a coffee outlet channel. The extraction groove is in fluid communication with the coffee outlet channel. The elastic filter tray is provided with at least one filtering hole at a position corresponding to the extraction groove. The coffee liquid extracted for the first time enters the extraction groove via the at least one filtering hole under pressure. The coffee extraction assembly can be used for coffee first and secondary pressurization extractions. The filtering hole on the elastic filter tray can be elastically deformed and is not easy to be blocked, to ensure the pressure stability of each extraction and improve the coffee taste.
Brewing apparatus for preparing a hot beverage
In a method and an associated brewing apparatus for preparing a hot beverage, in particular a coffee beverage, a quantity of a flavoring source, in particular coffee powder, is introduced into a brewing chamber and then, in a brewing operation, a predeterminable overall quantity of brewing water is passed through the brewing chamber under pressure, in order to enhance the taste quality of the freshly brewed coffee beverages or at least to increase the consistency of the taste. During the brewing operation, a value for the volume flow of the brewing water upstream or downstream of the brewing chamber, and/or for the quantity of the brewing water which has already been passed through, or is still to be passed through, is determined continuously, or at least a number of times, and a controllable backpressure valve downstream of the brewing chamber is activated in accordance with the value determined. The backpressure valve is a motor-operated needle valve which the controller opens wider or closes by activating a corresponding drive motor.
