A food preparation apparatus for a slice includes a flat bottom and raised side members. The flat bottom is shaped like the slice with two angled sides and an open end. Wherein, the food preparation apparatus is configured to hold the slice on the bottom where the raised side members are configured to retain the slice and toppings on the food preparation apparatus.

A system includes a hopper, a permeable seal, a gas supply, and a receiver. The hopper includes an elongated housing holding a row of food products. The elongated housing defines a pressurized end opposite a discharge end through which the food products are dispensed. The permeable seal is interposed between an interior wall of the hopper and a surface of the piston. The permeable seal cooperates with the hopper and the piston to define a closed volume between the piston and the pressurized end. The permeable seal is configured to bleed gas from the closed volume toward the discharge end. The gas supply selectively supplies gas into the closed volume to displace the piston toward the discharge end. The receiver receives food products dispensed from the elongated housing and is positioned to allow the food products to move along at least partially by gravity.

A system includes a hopper, a permeable seal, a gas supply, and a receiver. The hopper includes an elongated housing holding a row of food products. The elongated housing defines a pressurized end opposite a discharge end through which the food products are dispensed. The permeable seal is interposed between an interior wall of the hopper and a surface of the piston. The permeable seal cooperates with the hopper and the piston to define a closed volume between the piston and the pressurized end. The permeable seal is configured to bleed gas from the closed volume toward the discharge end. The gas supply selectively supplies gas into the closed volume to displace the piston toward the discharge end. The receiver receives food products dispensed from the elongated housing and is positioned to allow the food products to move along at least partially by gravity.
Vending machine and transport cartridge systems and methods
A vending machine system for loading and dispensing pre-baked unpackaged food including a fixed cartridge disposed in a refrigerator of a vending machine, and a transport cartridge adapted to removably attach to the fixed cartridge, the transport cartridge operable for holding trays of unpackaged food and loading the trays of unpackaged food from the transport cartridge into the fixed cartridge, wherein, when the transport cartridge is removably attached to the fixed cartridge, a front opening of the transport cartridge aligns with a front opening of the fixed cartridge, and wherein the rack of the transport cartridge aligns with the conveyor system of the fixed cartridge such that trays of unpackaged food within the transport cartridge can simultaneously be transitioned from the rack to the conveyor system.
MODULAR PASTRY STORAGE CAROUSEL
A modular pastry packaging carousel is disclosed, which provides the ability to individually store wedge-shaped pastry slices in a respective wedge-shaped pastry module. In a version of the application, the modular pasty packaging carousel generally comprises a bottom plate, a top plate, a spacer positioned between the bottom plate and the top plate providing a radial gab therebetween; and a plurality of wedge-shaped pastry modules, each comprising a sector-shaped removable base. The sector-shaped removable base includes a means for engaging the pastry module with the base tray radial connection channels. In certain versions, a radial pastry slicer assembly, which has a plurality of radially positioned slicers, is provided.
MODULAR PASTRY STORAGE CAROUSEL
A modular pastry packaging carousel is disclosed, which provides the ability to individually store wedge-shaped pastry slices in a respective wedge-shaped pastry module. In a version of the application, the modular pasty packaging carousel generally comprises a bottom plate, a top plate, a spacer positioned between the bottom plate and the top plate providing a radial gab therebetween; and a plurality of wedge-shaped pastry modules, each comprising a sector-shaped removable base. The sector-shaped removable base includes a means for engaging the pastry module with the base tray radial connection channels. In certain versions, a radial pastry slicer assembly, which has a plurality of radially positioned slicers, is provided.
Wrapping apparatus for making handheld food
An apparatus for making a wrapped food product includes a conveyor under continuous motion. A wrapper is positioned over the moving conveyor. The apparatus includes a filling mechanism that conveys a filling from a hopper to a mold and a piston that pushes the filling from the mold to the wrapper. The apparatus also includes a folding mechanism that folds a side of the wrapper over a portion of the filling, and a second plate that folds the other side of the wrapper over another portion of the filling. A stamper is positioned over the conveyor, pressing the folded wrapper onto the filling. A flipping mechanism of the apparatus includes a set of guide plates and a prong that rotates the filling and a portion of the wrapper around the filling on itself.
