A portioning device for cutting or leveling a food product includes a blade configured to cut the food product, a first leg section and a second leg section configured to support the portioning device on a surface, and a handle section configured to be manipulated by a user. Each of the first and second leg sections include a leg, a blade holder configured to connect with the blade, and a leg lock operatively mounted to the leg and configured to selectively lock the leg in a position at a selected height of the leg to adjust a distance between the blade and the surface. The blade is a wire. The handle section is foldable about the central portion thereof to place the device in a collapsed configuration.

A system and method for breaking a sheet of frozen pizza into individual pieces for packaging is disclosed. In an embodiment, the frozen pizza sheet includes five individual pieces separated by frangible lines. The breaking process includes a first step, wherein two end pieces are broken off by a first breaking mechanism, and a second step, wherein two additional end pieces are broken off a remainder of the frozen pizza sheet by a second breaking mechanism arranged downstream of the first breaking mechanism. In preferred embodiments, each breaking mechanism includes multiple holding wheels and multiple camming wheel rotatably mounted on a common driven axle.

The leg section includes a blade holder configured to hold an end of a blade portion, and a leg lock configured to adjustably lock the leg in a position. The blade is configured to cut an object.

A portioning device is provided for use in cutting or leveling a food product. Devices for use with food, preferably donuts, are provided. The devices are designed to allow a user to cut a donut, to hold a donut or portions thereof, to be used to serve a donut or portions thereof, or combinations thereof. In one embodiment, the donut cutter may comprise a first scissors member and a second scissors member. The first scissors member and the second scissors member are operatively connected via a pivot member to allow the donut cutter to move between various orientations. In another embodiment, the donut cutter may comprise a first arm and second arm. The first arm and the second arm are linked tougher via a wall or segment at the first end.

Devices for use with food, preferably donuts, are provided. The devices are designed to allow a user to cut a donut, to hold a donut or portions thereof, to be used to serve a donut or portions thereof, or combinations thereof. In one embodiment, the donut cutter may comprise a first scissors member and a second scissors member. The first scissors member and the second scissors member are operatively connected via a pivot member to allow the donut cutter to move between various orientations. In another embodiment, the donut cutter may comprise a first arm and second arm. The first arm and the second arm are linked tougher via a wall or segment at the first end.

A vehicle-based, automated pizza-making system including a two-piece pizza pan conveyed between pizza-making components on a series of pan drive rails. The two-piece pizza pan can include a base and a removable ring for containing the unfinished pizza and toppings. The rails can include timing belts for conveying the two-piece pizza pan through the system with improved positional control and accuracy.

A food cutter has a cutting portion and a movable portion that is movable between a first position in which the movable portion is raised relative to the cutting portion and a second position in which the movable position is lowered relative to the cutting portion. The cutting portion comprises an upstanding wall with a blade formed on a distal end of the upstanding wall. The movable portion is arranged generally traverse to the upstanding wall. A biasing member extends continuously from the upstanding wall to the movable portion. The biasing member urges the movable portion to the first position when the movable portion is moved to the second position.
