A device for brewing coffee and other infused beverages according to the French press method, which provides the ability to stir the coffee grounds during brewing and remove the spent coffee grounds from the brewing vessel after liquid extraction, using the same mechanism required to remove the filter press assembly, which features a solid surface which extends beneath the filter assembly on a vertical arm which is coaxial with the vertical arm of the filter, and both solid surface and filter arms are manipulatable at the top of the device, using a handle and fastening mechanism, which allows an integrated stirring mechanism located on the solid arm to be rotated, and then the filter to be fully pressed down, while both arms, and the connected lower solid surface and upper filter surface, are removable simultaneously from the vessel after liquid is removed, which cleans the brewing vessel of coffee grounds during the action of filter removal.

The container collar is configured to cover a rim of the open top. The brewing material holder is configured to hold brewing material and to be suspended from the container collar and into an interior of the container. The container collar is configured to cover a rim of the open top. The brewing material holder is configured to hold brewing material and to be suspended from the container collar and into an interior of the container. The brewing material holder includes a sidewall having an opening, an open top, and a bottom. The mesh element covers the opening in the sidewall of the brewing material holder. The drive assembly is positionable on the container collar and is configured to be mechanically coupled to and rotate the brewing material holder.

Disclosed is a cold brew coffee maker and related methods of making cold brew coffee. The cold brew coffee maker can include a rotation plate assembly, a removable cup, a brew chamber and a filtration assembly. The rotation plate assembly can include an internal magnetic component for generating rotational movement of a selectively attachable component of the cup. The removable cup can include a detachable impeller and removable plate. In other embodiments, the impeller may be non-removably affixed to the cup. The impeller can engage with the rotation plate assembly by a magnetic connection. In the “on” mode, the impeller engages with the rotational plate assembly and internal magnetic component, allowing for rotational movement of the impeller. In the “off” mode, the impeller and magnetic component are freely moveable and able to disengage, allowing for easy separation of all assembly components for cleaning or replacement.

The plunger assembly includes a plunger handle and a plunger head and moves the plunger head into the interior space based on a force applied to the plunger handle. The brewing of the beverage is further based on the moving of the plunger head.
