An improved French coffee press apparatus, system, and method that utilizes a locking ring to engage with a locking base that can be removed from the carafe, along with any coffee grounds. The locking ring is connected to the pressing rod, which also includes a filter system above the locking ring. The pressing rod fits through an opening in the carafe lid, and the carafe lid secures the liquid inside the carafe. The combination of the filtering system assists in the filtering and capture of any coffee grounds into the locking base for cleaning, and the locking ring assists in the removal of the locking base.

A movable seal for interfacing between a first surface and a second surface includes a floating portion attached to a non-floating portion by a flexible coupling portion, wherein the non-floating portion is coupled to the first surface by nesting in a groove on the first surface, and wherein the non-floating portion forms a seal between the first and second surfaces when the first surface moves relative to the second surface in a first direction, and wherein the non-floating portion does not form a seal between the first and second surfaces when the first surface moves relative to the second surface in a second opposite direction.

An infusion system, for use in making an infusion beverage, includes a a cup configured to hold liquid, the cup having an altitude from the lowermost position of liquid therein, the lowermost position defining a bottom of the cup. The system also includes an infusion component, for use in making the infusion beverage in the cup when liquid has been placed in the cup, the infusion component including a liquid permeable infusion bed configured to hold an infusion root, and dimensioned to rest in the bottom of the cup; and a removal strip having a first end attached to the infusion bed and a free second end. The removal strip is configured in relation to the infusion bed to facilitate grasping by a user of the free end of the removal strip by which the user can easily accomplish removal of the infusion component from the cup after making of the infusion beverage has been completed.

An infusion system, for use in making an infusion beverage, includes a a cup configured to hold liquid, the cup having an altitude from the lowermost position of liquid therein, the lowermost position defining a bottom of the cup. The system also includes an infusion component, for use in making the infusion beverage in the cup when liquid has been placed in the cup, the infusion component including a liquid permeable infusion bed configured to hold an infusion root, and dimensioned to rest in the bottom of the cup; and a removal strip having a first end attached to the infusion bed and a free second end. The removal strip is configured in relation to the infusion bed to facilitate grasping by a user of the free end of the removal strip by which the user can easily accomplish removal of the infusion component from the cup after making of the infusion beverage has been completed.

A French press coffee machine for brewing coffee from coffee grounds is provided. The coffee machine can include a brew chamber, a piston, and a motor. The brew chamber can be selectively moveable between a first position, a second position, and a third position. The brew chamber in the first position can be configured to receive coffee grounds. The brew chamber in the second position can be configured to brew coffee. The brew chamber in the third position configured to compress the coffee grounds. The piston can be selectively moveable between a first point and a second point to separate the coffee grounds from the brewed coffee. The motor can be disposed adjacent to the brew chamber and can be configured to selectively move the brew chamber and the piston. The present disclosure also provides a method for brewing coffee from coffee grounds.

A French press coffee machine for brewing coffee from coffee grounds is provided. The coffee machine can include a brew chamber, a piston, and a motor. The brew chamber can be selectively moveable between a first position, a second position, and a third position. The brew chamber in the first position can be configured to receive coffee grounds. The brew chamber in the second position can be configured to brew coffee. The brew chamber in the third position configured to compress the coffee grounds. The piston can be selectively moveable between a first point and a second point to separate the coffee grounds from the brewed coffee. The motor can be disposed adjacent to the brew chamber and can be configured to selectively move the brew chamber and the piston. The present disclosure also provides a method for brewing coffee from coffee grounds.

A movable seal for interfacing between a first surface and a second surface includes a floating portion attached to a non-floating portion by a flexible coupling portion, wherein the non-floating portion is coupled to the first surface by nesting in a groove on the first surface, and wherein the non-floating portion forms a seal between the first and second surfaces when the first surface moves relative to the second surface in a first direction, and wherein the non-floating portion does not form a seal between the first and second surfaces when the first surface moves relative to the second surface in a second opposite direction.

A coffee brewing system includes a brew vessel adapted to receive water and ground coffee to produce and store a brewed beverage. The brew vessel includes a filter and a magnet stirrer in the lower portion of the brew vessel. The magnet stirrer creates a water vortex for brewing the coffee. The used coffee grounds are allowed to settle on the filter creating a bed of used coffee grounds and the coffee is then filtered through both the bed of used coffee grounds and the filter and collected in a coffee storage container.

A magnetic device includes a cup body, a tea strainer and a cup lid, the cup lid is provided with a separation mechanism for tea strainer including a stressed block and a separation magnet, which is mounted on the stressed block, the stressed block under stress changes the relative position between the separation magnet and the cup lid, the tea strainer is provided with a magnetically attractive metal block and is attracted to the center of the bottom of the cup lid by attraction force between the separation magnet and the magnetically attractive metal block, the separation magnet moves away from the magnetically attractive metal block, such that the attraction force between them is decreased, when it is less than the gravity of the tea strainer, the tea strainer falls down to the bottom of the cup body under gravity.

A brewing material holder for a beverage brewer includes a filter housing, and an internal filter. The filter housing includes a housing sidewall defining a housing interior volume, and an open end configured to receive brewing material into the housing interior volume. The internal filter includes a filter sidewall having at least one filter opening, and at least one filter mesh element covering the at least one filter opening. The internal filter is configured to engage the filter housing such that the internal filter is arranged within the housing interior volume.
