ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE WITH ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISPENSING PRESSURE AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE DISPENSING PRESSURE OF AN ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE
An espresso coffee machine comprising at least one dispensing group (1003) which dispenses shots of espresso coffee, a pressure sensor (24, 25) positioned at the dispensing group (1003), a measuring device and a control unit (30) is described. The pressure sensor (24, 25) provides values of the dispensing pressure (P1) in the dispensing group (1003). The measuring device provides values indicating the amounts of liquid at the inlet or the outlet of the dispensing group (1003). Using the values of the dispensing pressure (P1) received from the pressure sensor (24, 25) and the values indicative of the amount of liquid which are received from the measuring device, the control unit (30) controls the dispensing pressure (P1) of each shot according to a profile of the dispensing pressure (P1) as a function of the amount of liquid.
PLATE FILTER FOR COFFEE MAKERS AND THE LIKE, AND COFFEE MAKER INCLUDING SAID FILTER
A plate filter for coffee makers and the like, such as moka pots, Neapolitan flip coffee makers, coffee presses, or percolators, comprises a filtering wall (6a) provided with a plurality of holes or apertures (8) that define as a whole a substantially mesh-like structure having, according to the DIN 791 standard, a long side of mesh pitch or major diagonal (DL) that is less than 2 mm±5%, in particular comprised between 0.1 and 1.9 mm±5%, preferably comprised between 0.6 and 1 mm±5%, and even more preferably of 0.85 mm±5%.
METHOD FOR DELIVERING LIQUID HEATED TO A DESIRED TEMPERATURE UNDER PRESSURE IN A MICROWAVE OVEN
A method of delivering a liquid heated to a desired temperature under pressure in a microwave oven uses a device having first and second chambers adapted to receive and hold, respectively, a first and second volume of a liquid, a vapor flow path from the first chamber to the second chamber, and a liquid/vapor flow path from the second chamber to a destination outside of the second chamber. The first chamber liquid receives less microwave energy per volume than the second chamber liquid receives. The device is placed on top of a receiving vessel and placed into a microwave oven, which is activated until the first chamber liquid boils and at least partially turns into gas, flows through the vapor flow path into the second chamber, and forces some of the second chamber liquid through the liquid/vapor flow path to the destination outside of the second chamber.

When the liquid in the first chamber reaches its boiling point and at least partially turns into a gas, at least a portion of the gas flows through the vapor flow path from the first chamber into the second chamber, thereby increasing a pressure in the second chamber. The increased pressure in the second chamber forces the liquid in the second chamber through the liquid/vapor flow path and out of the second chamber.

COFFEE MAKER WITH FOAMING DEVICE
A coffee maker which has a funnel ending with a funnel mouth and a foaming device applied to the funnel mouth is provided. The foaming device has a valve made of deformable material provided with an outlet mouth towards which an exiting percolated beverage is channeled. In a rest condition, in which the valve does not cooperate with the funnel, the at outlet mouth has a rest passage section. In a mounting condition, in which the valve cooperates with the funnel, the outlet mouth is deformed and has a working passage section, reduced as compared to the rest passage section.
CONTROLLED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BREWING INFUSED BEVERAGES
An infused beverage brewing assembly and system operably configured to receive a desired dispensed infused solution mass and a total infusion time utilized in an infusion algorithm to generate an infused solution. The system includes an electronic controller operably configured to initiate a time counter associated with an inducement of the flow of the solvent to generate a running infusion time and a first and second portions separated by a triggering condition, and to generate, in the second portion and dynamically, a remaining infusion time and a remaining dispensed infused solution mass, The electronic controller is also operable to execute the infusion algorithm in the second portion of the running infusion time to generate the solvent flow rate change sufficient to provide the remaining dispensed infused solution mass in the remaining infusion time based on the running infusion time, the desired dispensed infused solution mass, and the total infusion time.
