The invention concerns a beverage preparation apparatus (10), said apparatus comprising at least one chamber (1) for receiving and mixing an aqueous liquid and at least one soluble beverage ingredient, said chamber comprising: a cylindrical lateral side wall (11) comprising a liquid inlet (2), a bottom wall (12) comprising a beverage outlet (3), and wherein the liquid inlet (2) is positioned close to the bottom of the chamber, and wherein the liquid inlet (2) is configured so that the liquid is introduced in the chamber as a straight jet of liquid, and wherein said chamber comprises a first bump (4) separating the bottom wall in two areas (121, 122), and wherein said chamber comprises a second bump (5) rising from the bottom and lateral side walls of the chamber and presenting a shape designed to convert the jet of liquid into a swirl and to guide said swirl so that it flows along the line L in front of the liquid inlet.

The disclosure relates to a beverage preparation module intended for installation in a self-service beverage vending machine. According to the disclosure, a water connection and a preparation device for preparing a beverage by means of water provided at the water connection are provided. Beverage preparation parameters can be transmitted to a control unit via a communication interface. The control unit is configured to control the preparation device in order to prepare a beverage based on the beverage preparation parameters. A beverage outlet for discharging the beverage prepared by the preparation device is provided. In one embodiment, at least one additional module interface is provided for connecting the control unit to at least one additional module.

The present disclosure concerns a multiple dosing device and magazine for releasing one or more doses of additive. The multiple dosing device comprises a magazine having a number of through openings, each receiving a tube, containing a dose of additive. The through openings and tubes extended axially between two opposite ends of the magazine. The tubes are arranged moveable in an axial direction inside respective through opening. Each tube has a pointed lower end. An upper foil and a lower foil are placed adhered to the opposite ends of the magazine. The ends of the tubes are placed abutting or adjacent the upper and lower foils, respectively. The multiple dosing device further comprises an activation part with push buttons, which push buttons are placed for controlling the axial position of one tube each.

An instant heating smart milk maker includes a body, and a powdered milk charge metering device, a powdered milk brewing device, a water tank, a hot water supply device, a control circuit board, and a powdered milk feeder drive device mounted on the body. The hot water supply device and the powdered milk feeder drive device are electrically connected to the control circuit board. The powdered milk charge metering device includes a driving shaft, a powdered milk supply impeller and a powdered milk box. The powdered milk supply impeller is connected to the powdered milk feeder drive device in a transmission way through the driving shaft. An powdered milk inlet of the powdered milk brewing device is connected to a powdered milk outlet of the powdered milk box. The water tank is connected to a water inlet of the hot water supply device.

A brewer system includes a reservoir, a steep chamber movable relative to the reservoir and positioned over a mouth of the reservoir, and a filter tape positioned between the chamber and the reservoir. Brewing substance and water are added to the chamber to form a brewed beverage that passes through the filter tape and into the reservoir through the mouth.

A granulated nutritional supplement dispensing machine extracts single-serving doses from a multi-serving supplements cartridge for delivery as a drinkable solution. A lead serving chamber is pierced so that its powered contents drain into a mixing cup together with a metered quantity of water from an integrated water tank. A vibrator unit assists drainage of the granulated materials from the lead serving chamber. The mixing cup is rotated at high speed to blend the water and supplements into a slurry. The supplements cartridge is indexed after (or before) use so that an unopened serving chamber is presented each time for extracting its supplements. This enables partially-used supplements cartridges to be used in the machine, as is conducive in multiple-user households. The supplements cartridge is configured with read-write data capability to indicate whether or not the contents of each serving chamber have been emptied.

A beverage production apparatus includes a mixing chamber for producing a beverage from a soluble ingredient and a liquid, and a chamber receiving area for receiving the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber is removable from the chamber receiving area. The chamber receiving area includes an upper part, and the upper part is removable from the beverage production apparatus.

A beverage preparation assembly includes: a container for storing a water soluble beverage powder, the container having a tank and a powder outlet; a dissolution chamber for preparing a beverage from the water soluble beverage powder and a diluent, the dissolution chamber having at last one diluent inlet and a beverage outlet; a chute for guiding the water soluble beverage powder from the powder outlet of the container to the dissolution chamber; and an air outlet configured for evacuating air from the dissolution chamber. The powder outlet is connected to the chute by a conduit; and the powder outlet, the conduit, the chute and the dissolution chamber are connected together through airtight connections. The assembly includes an air inlet positioned above the chute only.

A coffee machine includes an infusion zone, a storage container for ground coffee arranged above the infusion zone, and a device for transferring the coffee grounds from the storage container to the infusion zone via an aperture. The transfer device includes a member for opening and closing the aperture, which can move between an open position and a closed position. The aperture opening and closing member includes an open portion that has an inclined wall configured, when in the open position, to be positioned beneath the aperture and to direct the coffee grounds that pass through said aperture towards the infusion zone, and configured to be offset from the aperture when in the closed position. The transfer device also includes a cleaning member for the inclined wall when moving from the open position into the closed position and vice versa.
