Water treatment system
A system is provided for treating and distributing water. The system includes a first container and an input conduit that supplies water (e.g., purified, unpurified, etc.) to the first container. The system also has a treatment delivery system that delivers a mineral composition into the first container. Further, the system uses a controller to selectively deliver the mineral composition in to the first container so that the mineral composition mixes with, and dissolves in the water delivered to the first container. This produces treated water having a programmed profile, which can be distributed to a destination (e.g., a coffee shop) via an output conduit.
MANUALLY-OPERATED GRANULAR SUBSTANCE DISPENSER
A dispenser includes a housing having an upper and a lower portion. The upper portion includes a storage compartment having a floor and retaining a granular substance. The lower portion includes a spout. A first outlet extends through the floor. A manually rotatable upper disc is disposed below the floor, and has a second outlet therethrough. A manually rotatable lower disc is disposed between the upper disc and the lower portion. The lower disc includes a third outlet therethrough. Rotation of the upper disc aligns the second outlet with the first outlet and the granular substance passes through the first to the second outlet. Rotation of the lower disc through one or more positions permits a variable amount of the granular substance to pass from the second to the third outlet. Further rotation of the lower disc aligns the third outlet with the spout to dispense the granular substance.
Method for the instantaneous self-calibration of the dose for a coffee grinder-doser apparatus
Method for the instantaneous self-calibration of the dose of coffee, for a grinder-doser apparatus with electronic control provided with a weighing means and with a granulometry adjusting means with a warning microswitch. The method provides: a first setting of the nominal dose with temporary grinding times; a second setting of the tolerance and reliability ranges of the dispensed doses, for the purpose of recalculation; the automatic control of the weight of each actually dispensed dose; the automatic recalculation of the grinding times according to an ordinary calculation logic, when one detects three consecutive out-of-tolerance doses all within the positive or negative reliability range, or according to a forced calculation logic when the microswitch detects a granulometry variation; automatic calibration of the apparatus according to the recalculated times.
Sugar dispenser with auger
Systems and apparatus for dispensing edible granular material for a beverage include a hopper. The hopper includes at least a floor defining a bottom of the hopper. An auger includes an auger shaft, is positioned at the bottom of the hopper, and extends horizontally from the hopper. A tube is connected to the hopper and surrounds at least a portion of the auger. The tube extends away from the hopper. An outlet through the tube is located at an end of the tube distal from the hopper.
Coffee Grinder
A tamping augur may be controlled in various ways to obtain a consistent fill height and uniformity in the distribution of coffee grinds in a portafilter.
Apparatus and system for mixing and dispensing accurately pre measured powdered material
Apparatus and system for mixing and dispensing accurately pre-measured powdered material. The apparatus comprising of a cap, a dispensing teat or similar, a screw down top with a fixed or removable plate insert, a powder keg and a bottle or similar, together with a system, wherein by rotating a screw down top with a fixed or removable plate insert engages a pre-sealed powder keg containing accurately pre-measured powdered material which acts to open and release the accurately pre-measured powdered material into a volume of liquid or similar.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION METHOD
The invention concerns a method for producing a beverage by dissolution of soluble beverage powder with water in a beverage preparation apparatus, —said apparatus comprising at least one chamber (1) for receiving and mixing a dose of soluble beverage powder with water, said chamber comprising : —an opened top to receive the dose of soluble beverage powder, and —a lateral side wall (11) said lateral side wall comprising a water inlet (2), and —a bottom wall (12), said bottom wall comprising a beverage outlet conduit (3), and —said method comprising the steps of: a) —introducing water through the water inlet (2) to wet the internal surface of the funnel of the bottom wall, then b) —stopping the introduction of water, then c) —introducing the dose of soluble beverage powder in the chamber, then d) —introducing water in the chamber to dissolve the powder.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a beverage
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a desired portion of a beverage, such as a single-cup portion of coffee, are provided. The system can include one or more hopper assemblies configured to provide a controlled dose of beverage material to a brew chamber. The system can also include a water input system configured to wet the ground beverage material as the grinds enter the brew chamber and substantially prevent steam from reaching grinder components of the system. Further, the system can include an automatic cleaning mechanism such that a user does not need to manually clean components of a brewing machine between brew cycles.
CANNABINOID-CONTAINING CONSUMER PRODUCT SYSTEMS, APPARATUS AND METHODS
The disclosure relates to an apparatus for making cannabinoid-containing beverages. The apparatus comprises at least one interface configured to receive a cartridge containing a cannabinoid-containing substance. The apparatus also comprises at least one valve, in fluid communication with the at least one interface, configured to dispense an amount of the substance from the cartridge. A valve controller is configured to control the valve in order to vary the amount of the substance dispensed by the valve.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A LIQUID PRODUCT
A system for preparing a liquid product, for example a beverage. The system comprises a product preparation assembly comprising a concentrate holder for holding product concentrate, a product feedthrough channel, and a concentrate supply channel for feeding a flow of product concentrate from said holder to said product feedthrough channel. The concentrate supply channel is provided with a valve member for regulating the flow of product concentrate, the valve member being movable with respect to the concentrate supply channel between a first position in which the flow of concentrate is blocked and a second position in which the flow of concentrate is enabled. The system comprises a product preparation apparatus configured to cooperate with the product preparation assembly. The apparatus comprises a liquid injector for supplying a flow of liquid into the product feedthrough channel, in particular via the valve member, wherein the liquid injector is configured to engage the valve member for moving the valve member. The apparatus comprises a controller configured for automatically controlling a movement of the valve member along a range of positions via actuation of the liquid injector, said range of positions extending between the first position and the second position.
