ROTO-TRANSLATIONAL MIXING DEVICE
A machine (1) for serving a beverage (7) via a dispensing outlet (8) to a consumer receptacle (9) by mixing water (3) from a water source (3′) with a flavouring ingredient (2), has a mixing unit (10) that comprises: a stationary support (11); a seat (12) having an ingredient opening (120); a closure part (13) configured to close and open the ingredient opening (120); and a wall part (14) that is movable inside the seat (12). The seat (12), the closure part (13) and the wall part (14) are: mounted to the support (11); and relatively movable between a transfer configuration and a mixing chamber configuration in which the seat (12) and the closure part (13) and the wall part (14) form a mixing chamber (12′) fluidically connected with the water source (3′). The seat (12) is configured to move relatively to the support (11) according to simultaneous and/or successive geometric translation and geometric rotation.
SWEET TEA BREWING DEVICE
The present application provides a sweet tea brewing device for brewing tea with hot water and adding sugar and dilution water. The sweet tea brewing device includes a tea basket for brewing the tea with the hot water, a sugar basket with the sugar downstream of the tea basket, a dilution line with the dilution water in communication with the sugar basket, and a tea urn downstream of the sugar basket. The tea from the tea basket and the dilution water from the dilution line dissolve the sugar in the sugar basket such that the combined tea, dissolved sugar, and dilution water flow to the tea urn.
Beverage preparation system
A method of operating a beverage preparation machine that permits automated preparation of a variety of beverages. A plurality of stations add ingredients to a beverage container and process the contents directly in the container in some embodiments. Parallel preparation of more than one beverage may be performed in some embodiments. A robotic arm moves the beverage container to the stations. The robotic arm may include a weight sensor as part of controlling the addition of ingredients.
Decoction device and extraction apparatus
A decoction device for an extraction apparatus, in particular for preparing espresso, comprises a decoction chamber (7) enclosed by a chamber wall (5) for receiving a quantity of powder therein. The decoction chamber is situated between a first chamber bottom (20) and a second chamber bottom (30). The first chamber bottom (20) is coupled to a linear actuator and is axially movable in the decoction chamber so as to compress the powder to a bed. A drive is provided to impose a relative rotation between one of the chamber bottoms and the chamber wall as the chamber bottoms (20,30) approach each other. The respective chamber bottom (30) is for this purpose rotatable within the chamber wall (5) and the drive is able and configured to impose a rotation thereon during an approach movement of the first chamber bottom (20). A slip coupling (60) is provided in the transmission.
Cold brew coffee brewing system and method
A cold brew coffee brewing system to prepare cold brew coffee by extraction of coffee grounds with brew water in a single-past, non-immersion extraction operation uses a tower unit with first and second receiving locations to receive a pre-infusion container for preparation of a pre-infusion mixture of coffee grounds during a pre-infusion operation and to receive an extraction vessel containing the transferred pre-infusion mixture for extraction processing to prepare cold brew coffee product, which is collected in a collection container received in the second receiving location of the tower unit. A brew control system controls operation of the water dispensing system during a cold brewing process cycle, and including a controller unit having stored therein multiple profiles for different cold-brew coffee product that may be prepared at the direction of the controller unit. A network may include multiple such cold brew coffee brewing systems connected with a central server.

Beverage mixing and dispensing system
The beverage mixing and dispensing system is a system for producing beverages having a variety of different consistencies, such as those which may be used in the evaluation and treatment of patients with swallowing disorders. The beverage mixing and dispensing system automatically mixes a thickening agent in desired quantities with either water and/or an infused beverage. The beverage mixing and dispensing system may further automatically add beverage modifying agents, such as flavor additives and/or dyes. The resultant mixed beverages are automatically dispensed.
Beverage machine and capsule for use with the beverage machine
The present disclosure relates to a beverage machine for preparing a single serving of a mixed beverage and a capsule for use with the machine. The capsule includes an open shell defining a reservoir for holding ingredients; a lid for sealing the open shell; and, a guide member disposed within the reservoir of the open shell configured to receive a liquid stream injected by an injection needle of a beverage machine when the lid is pierced by the injection needle and to guide the liquid stream to a mixing zone within the reservoir for mixing the liquid stream with the liquid held in the reservoir to prepare a single serving of mixed beverage to be dispensed from the reservoir via a dispensing needle of the beverage machine when the dispensing needle pierces the open shell . . . .
