The invention concerns a beverage production device (10) having a first dissolution chamber (1), said first dissolution chamber being configured for producing a beverage by mixing a beverage concentrate and a diluent and having: at least one diluent inlet (11a, 11b) andat least one liquid delivery outlet (12), a bottom wall (13), the at least one liquid delivery outlet (12) being set in said bottom wall, wherein the device has a second dilution chamber (2), said second dilution chamber having: a top wall (21), andat least one liquid inlet (22) through the top wall, said liquid inlet being the liquid delivery outlet (12) of the first dissolution chamber, andat least one diluent inlet (23) configured for introducing a diluent in the second dilution chamber and mixing said diluent with the liquid flowing from the at least one liquid inlet (22) through the top wall.
Beverage producing unit and machine
A beverage producing unit includes an infusion chamber with a first infusion chamber portion forming a receptacle for receiving a beverage preparing product and is configured to be movable between a loading position, where the first infusion chamber portion is arranged under a product-loading hopper, and a brewing position, where the first infusion chamber portion is configured to co-act with a second infusion chamber portion to close the infusion chamber. A scraper is arranged and configured to level a product heap projecting from the receptacle during movement of the first infusion chamber portion from the loading position towards said brewing position. The receptacle has a top edge surrounding a receptacle inlet aperture. The top edge is provided with a projection extending from the top edge and configured to prevent product from falling out of the receptacle when passing under the scraper.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BREWING AND DISPENSING COFFEE USING CUSTOMER PROFILING
A system and method for brewing and dispensing beverages may use customer profiling to select beverages to be produced and presented to a given customer and/or messages to be displayed to the customer, based on customer-specific information stored on a loyalty card, in a local system, or remotely. A user interface mechanism may receive input identifying the given customer. A controller may select a base drink recipe dependent on the customer's identity, and may initiate production of a beverage using the selected drink recipe. Each drink recipe may specify an amount of water, coffee, flavorings, dairy, and/or other ingredients, and may be further customizable to add or remove ingredients and/or to change an amount thereof, based on received user input. The stored customer-specific information may include a customer identifier, account information, a purchase history, a message history, drink recipes, and/or an email address for each of a plurality of customers.
COFFEE BREWER
A coffee brewer for a coffee capsule includes a frame body, a holding mechanism and two reloading mechanisms. The holding mechanism includes a holding seat for holding the coffee capsule. Each of the reloading mechanisms includes a rack member having a wing portion and rotatable between a loading position and an unloading position, a pin member movable by the holding seat to rotate the rack member to the loading position, and a restoring spring resiliently biasing the rack member to rotate toward the unloading position.

A machine (1) is configured for preparing a beverage (4) from a flavouring ingredient (5a) in a processing cavity (5) by mixing it with water (4) and centrifuging them about a processing axis (30). The machine (1) has an ingredient handling system (10, 20) with at least one beverage outlet (25) and at least one water inlet (24). The system (10, 20) has a first ingredient handler (10) and a second ingredient handler (20) that are movable one relative to the other from an ingredient transfer configuration to an ingredient processing configuration. The machine has: a handler actuator (41) configured to relatively move the first and second capsule handlers (10, 20) between the transfer and the processing configurations; and at least one fastener (41) movable selectively into a fastening position to fasten together the first and second capsule handlers (10, 20) in the processing configuration and into an unfastening position. The fastener (41) is actuated by the handler actuator (41) into the fastening position and/or into the unfastening position.
