CAPSULE FOR BEVERAGE MACHINE AND INJECTOR HEAD THEREOF
The invention relates to a capsule including a capsule housing and beverage ingredients contained in a hermetic chamber of the capsule housing for preparing a beverage. The capsule housing comprises a top wall, a lateral wall and a bottom wall, said walls surrounding the hermetic chamber. The hermetic chamber comprises a lower chamber section adjacent the bottom wall and an upper chamber section adjacent the top wall. The beverage ingredients comprises at least one primary beverage component contained in the lower chamber section and at least one secondary beverage component contained in the upper chamber section. The top wall of the capsule housing is configured to be perforated or sectioned by an injector head of a beverage machine and the bottom wall is configured to be perforated or sectioned by an extractor device for preparing a drink by injecting water into the upper chamber section of the capsule housing and extracting the beverage through the bottom wall.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE AND GASKET ARRANGEMENT
A beverage preparation machine having an inlet arrangement and a gasket arrangement is provided, where the inlet arrangement is configured with a plurality of inlet ports to deliver liquid to a beverage cartridge. The gasket arrangement may include a plurality of openings, wherein each of the plurality of inlet ports is received within one of the plurality of openings. The gasket arrangement may be integrally formed and may include one or more ribs disposed about each of the plurality of openings. A perimeter rib may extend along a perimeter of the gasket arrangement.
Beverage preparation machines
A delivery head for a beverage preparation machine comprising a movable first part, a fixed second part and a cartridge guide; the first part being movable between an open position and a clamping position; the cartridge guide being operatively engaged with the first part and slidably movable relative to the second part between a loading position and a dispensing position; the cartridge guide being located in the loading position when the first part is in the open position so as to enable loading of a cartridge into the cartridge guide; wherein on movement of the first part into the clamping position the cartridge guide is slidable into the dispensing position due to the operative engagement of the cartridge guide with the first part.
Method for the production of a capsule for extraction product
A capsule to form a closed interior filled with an extraction product or extract can be perforated in a known manner by perforation elements of an injection device or a discharge device in order to introduce an extraction liquid and to discharge an extraction product produced in the interior of the capsule following an extraction process. The capsule has the shape of a cuboid or a die.
Capsule coffee machine
A capsule coffee machine includes a brewing seat and a brewing assembly. Rotating members are connected to the brewing assembly in a rotatable manner. Two detent members are hinged to the brewing seat and connected to a limit structure of a corresponding rotating member. When the brewing assembly and brewing seat move apart, each detent member is rotated inwardly by a corresponding rotating member so that a coffee capsule can be held between the detent members. When the brewing seat and assembly move towards each other, each detent member rotates outwardly to release the capsule into a making cavity of the brewing assembly. When the brewing assembly and seat are again moved apart, the coffee capsule having been brewed, drops from an interval between the brewing seat and brewing assembly and the detent members rotate back to their original position.
Refrigerator appliance with timed preheating for dispensed fluids
A refrigerator appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a door, a dispensing assembly, a heating element, and a controller. The controller may be configured to initiate a dispensing operation. The dispensing operation may include providing a first time, TIME-1, by which a fluid is to be ready at a first temperature, TEMP-1, within the cabinet; ascertaining a first time period, Δt1, required to heat the fluid to at least the first temperature, TEMP-1; initiating detection of a container within a dispenser recess prior to the first time, TIME-1; and directing a heating element prior to the first time, TIME-1, based on initiating detection of the container.
PACKS FOR PREPARING BEVERAGES
Pack (1) with an inner volume (2) in which at least two different food or beverage ingredients (71, 72) are stored and in which a beverage is produced when water is introduced inside, said inner volume (2) being defined by sheets of material (10) joined to one another at their edges and said inner volume (2) presenting a generally plane shape defining a plane (P) vertically oriented during beverage production, said pack comprising at least one inlet (3) for introducing water in the inner volume and at least one outlet (4) for delivering the beverage from said inner volume, said water inlet and said beverage outlet being positioned between two joined edges of the sheets of material (10), and wherein the inner volume (2) includes a plurality of compartments (21, 22), the compartments being separated by at least one releasable or separable bond (6).
NUTRITIONAL POWDER PODS AND RELATED METHODS
Nutritional powders pods, generally in individual servings, suitable for use in beverage production machines are presented. The nutritional powder pods comprise pods containing a nutritional powder. The nutritional powder contained in the pods has specific characteristics, such as particle size, particle porosity, and powder density, which results in good reconstitution of the powder when it is reconstituted into a liquid product by a beverage production machine.
Dual-chamber teapot
A dual-chamber teapot configured for stovetop preparation. In one embodiment, the dual-chamber teapot includes an exterior body portion defining a cavity and an interior body portion housed in the cavity. The teapot also includes a spout projecting outward from the exterior body portion. An inner chamber is defined by the interior body portion and an outer chamber is defined between the exterior body portion and the interior body portion. The inner chamber is in fluid communication with the outer chamber and the outer chamber is in fluid communication with the spout.
MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING FLUID FOOD PRODUCTS
A machine for preparing a food product comprises at least a stationary structure, a hydraulic circuit and a control system. The hydraulic circuit comprises at least one water-supply source, means for heating water and pumping means, as well as a first dispensing element (51), which can be supplied with pressurized hot water and/or steam.
