Beverage machine
A beverage machine includes a brewing unit with a main body defining a hollow for receiving different types of portable pad and/or capsule holders, and a lid connected to the main body for opening and closing the hollow. The beverage machine further includes first and second holders for receiving first and second types of a pad or capsule, respectively. The shape of the hollow is configured such that it may either receive the first or second holder. The lid includes (i) a first sealing member configured to seal a first brewing chamber between the lid and the first holder, when the first holder is inserted into the hollow, and (ii) a second sealing member which is different from the first sealing member and is configured to seal a second brewing chamber between the lid and the second holder, when the second holder is inserted into the hollow.
Beverage Dispensing Machine
A beverage dispensing machine includes a beverage dispensing head whose position relative to a container receiving area can be adjusted, and a receiving structure for the dispensing head having a first slide and a second slide designed to interact with a respective lateral side of the dispensing head to form a first slide connection and a second slide connection, respectively. The receiving structure also includes a third slide, positioned between the first and second slides and designed to interact with the dispensing head to form a third slide connection. The third slide is closer to the receiving area along the longitudinal axis than the first slide and the second slide.
Coffee machine
Provided herein is a coffee machine, comprising a main body (1) that comprises a housing (101) of the main body, a pot liner (103) disposed within the housing (101), a heating mechanism for heating liquid in the pot liner (103), and a container (106) disposed above the pot liner (103) and being in communication with the inner space of the pot liner (103); a capsule base (2) detachably connected on the bottom of the main body (1); and a power-controller holder (3) detachably connected to the outside of the housing (101), for supporting, powering and controlling the main body (1). The coffee machine as described herein has a modularized structure for ease of using the coffee machine in various settings and ease of disassembly, maintenance and cleaning of the coffee machine.
CARTRIDGE BREWING FILTER DEVICE
Provided is a Cartridge brewing filter device for use with a cartridge brewing system. The device aids in further filtering the beverage provided by a cartridge brewing system. The filter device also helps prevent the beverage from splashing out of the beverage container during the brewing process. Additional features include using the filter device to add flavor, tea, coffee, elements, etc to the beverage to enhance the brewing experience.
Capsule-based system for preparing and dispensing a beverage
A beverage dispensing system that can dispense both cold and hot drinks from either cold drink capsules or hot drink capsules. The cold or hot drink capsule is inserted into the system, and the lid is manually closed. If a cold drink capsule has been inserted, a mechanism cracks the capsule along a predetermined seam, injects cold mixing fluid into the capsule, and then rotates the capsule to pour the mixed contents into a cup. As the contents are poured, additional cold fluid can be added to the cup. If a hot drink capsule has been inserted, closing the lid pushed it down on a bottom needle that punctures it. An injection needle rotates and punctures the top. Hot fluid is injected under pressure forcing a brewed or mixed drink out the bottom into a cup.
Sensor for multi-size cartridge extraction unit
An extraction unit (10) for extracting cartridges (1a; 1b) of two different heights (ha;hb) comprises a seat (11, 12, 13; 15) for receiving any of the cartridges (1a;1b). The seat is delimited by a first part (11,12,13) and a second part (15) that are relatively movable between an extraction position and a loading and/or ejection position. The first part has a first portion (11,12) and a second portion (13) that are relatively movable to delimit a cavity (12) having selectively: a first depth (da) for receiving a cartridge (1a) of the first height (ha); and a second depth (db) for receiving a cartridge (1b) of the second height (hb). The seat has a depth detecting arrangement (20), such as a detecting arrangement comprising a control unit (21) connected to sensor (22) via a connection (23). The depth detecting arrangement is configured to detect a relative position of the first portion and the second portion to determine whether the cavity has at least one of the first and second depths.
Coffee Maker
A drip filter coffee making device has a filter basket with a lid. The lid supports a water dispenser for wetting grounds in the filter basket. The basket is removable from a body of the device. The lid may have a dampened opening motion, biased into an open positon by a spring.
Automatic Beverage Maker
An automatic beverage system for producing a hot flavored beverage. The system includes a base unit having a water reservoir, a control system for heating liquid from the reservoir, a cartridge arm having a water injector and a cartridge holder, a pump and tubing system connecting the water reservoir to the cartridge holder and used to move water, the control system housed within the base unit and coupled to the heating element and pump to control temperature and movement of the liquid from the reservoir to the cartridge holder, and a container base positioned in an area adjacent the base unit and below the cartridge holder. The cartridge holder is adapted to receive interchangeable cartridges depending on the type and size of beverage desired. The beverage system is capable of using a beverage pod to dispense an individual cup of coffee or the like, and it is also capable of brewing larger volumes of coffee using freshly ground coffee beans. The heating element and related safety features ensure that the water is safely heated and maintained at an optimal brewing temperature.
Capsule based system for preparing and dispensing a beverage
A beverage dispensing system that can dispense both cold and hot drinks from either cold drink capsules or hot drink capsules. The cold or hot drink capsule is inserted into the system, and the lid is manually closed. if a cold drink capsule has been inserted, a mechanism cracks the capsule along a predetermined seam, injects cold mixing fluid into the capsule, and then rotates the capsule to pour out or further flush out the cold drink into a cup. If a hot drink capsule has been inserted, the lid is closed, and a rotating needle pierces the top of the capsule. The capsule is then punctured from the bottom. Hot water can then be injected into the top of the capsule, and the hot drink can be removed from the bottom into a cup.
BEVERAGE DISPENSING MACHINE
A beverage dispensing machine has an outlet device for dispensing a beverage and a movable support for supporting a container. The movable support movably supports the beverage dispensing machine at least from a first small container position at least partially placed below the outlet device for receiving the beverage in a small container resting on the movable support to a second large container position moved away from below the outlet device for positioning a large container below the outlet device. A cam device guides rotation of the movable support between the first small container position and the second large container position, and vice versa. The first small container position and the second large container position are stable positions separated from each other by at least one unstable position which, without external forces, causes the movable support to return to a closest stable position between the first small container position and the second large container position.
