Dispensing assembly for cold beverages
A dispensing assembly for cold beverages includes a beverage supply conduit, an opening and closing tap for closing or opening the beverage supply conduit, a beverage dispensing conduit delimiting a fluid passage, a dispensing outlet arranged at the end of the dispensing conduit, an air supply conduit delimiting an air passage. The tap is directly connected to the dispensing outlet by providing a connecting coupling which connects the air supply conduit to the beverage dispensing conduit, the beverage dispensing conduit comprising a Venturi segment between the tap and the outlet in which, by flowing through the Venturi segment, the fluid passage reduces the cross section thereof and then increases the cross section thereof as in a Venturi conduit. An air passage regulating valve is provided in said air supply conduit for regulating the width of the air passage.
Disposable foaming device
Disposable foaming device (100) for foaming a fluid (1) comprising a container compartment (20) and a foaming compartment (10), the container compartment (20) being pressurized by primary incoming air (14′) so that the fluid (1) is driven into the foaming compartment (20), wherein the foaming compartment (20) is provided with secondary incoming air (15′) to be mixed with the fluid (1) coming from the container compartment (20), the foaming compartment (10) being designed in such a way that the mixture of air and fluid (1) is moved under certain level of shear stress calculated so that it allows the mixture of air and fluid (1) to be emulsified in the foaming compartment (10). Typically, the foaming compartment (20) comprises an inner cylinder (11) and an outer cylinder (12), the inner cylinder (11) and the outer cylinder (12) being arranged concentrically so that a gap (13) is formed between them, the inner cylinder (11) being rotatable with respect to the outer cylinder (12), such that the mixture of fluid (1) and air is emulsified when driven through the gap (13).
Method and Appliance for Producing Beverages, Preferably Foamed Milk or Milk Beverages
Method for producing beverages, preferably foamed milk or milk beverages, in which milk is sucked up out of a container by a pump through at least one line and is conveyed through the latter to an outlet. Preferably, multiple different flavor liquids can be supplied as desired from a respective vessel at least individually into the line for conveying the milk. In this manner, the flavor liquid is mixed in already during production of the milk beverage, with the result that a high degree of mixing and thus the desired flavor is optimally achieved.
COFFEE MACHINE WITH ROBOTIC ARMS AND A LIFT TRAVELING BETWEEN PLATFORM LEVELS
A coffee machine includes a first housing and a second housing, wherein the second housing is disposed on top of the first housing. The second housing comprises a first platform, a second platform disposed below the first platform, and a lift disposed at a first side of the second housing and configured to translate between the first platform and the second platform. The second housing further comprises a first robotic arm disposed above the first platform, a second robotic arm disposed between the second platform and the first platform, and a coffee brewing machine actionable to dispense one or more fluids into a cup. The coffee machine further comprises an information handling system comprising a processor, wherein the processor is configured to actuate the first robotic arm, the second robotic arm, the coffee brewing machine, and the lift.
Modular foaming unit
A device for foaming liquid includes a line system and a pump, via which at least one first line of the line system is connectible to at least one storage container in which the liquid to be foamed is stored, and via a second line of the line system is connectible to at least one outlet nozzle, an air-enrichment element by means of which air can pass through the liquid, and a heating element designed as a continuous flow heater. Furthermore, the heating element is arranged in the second line of the line system of the device and is designed as a thick-film heater in which an electric heating resistor is attached to a carrier using thick-film technology, on which carrier a flow path is provided for the liquid.
Milk frother and coffee machine that incorporates such a milk frother
A milk frother (1) including a container having a chamber (2) for containing milk, a mixing chamber (3) equipped with an external dispenser (4) for dispensing the milk, a connecting channel (5) for connection between the containment chamber (2) and the mixing chamber (3), a transfer impeller (6) for transferring the milk from the containment chamber (2) to the mixing chamber, a mixing impeller (8) provided in the mixing chamber (3), and disconnectable connector (9) for connecting the transfer impeller (6) and the mixing impeller (8).
BEVERAGE PREPARATION SYSTEMS
In a system including a beverage preparation machine and a compatible steam wand (11), the machine has a wand holder (1) for releasably mounting the wand and a source of steam. The machine includes a steam nozzle (23) engageable with the wand and mounted for movement between an operative position in which it is fluidly connected with the source of steam and a rest position in which it is fluidly isolated from the source of steam. The nozzle is biased to the rest position. When the nozzle is in its rest position it can be at least partially engaged with the wand before the wand is fully inserted in the holder. The arrangement such that the steam nozzle (23) is moved to the operative position on insertion of the wand fully into the holder.
Method for heating milk or milk foam
With a method for heating in particular milk or milk foam, in which the milk or the milk/air mixture is conveyed through a passage opening and hot steam is conveyed through at least one steam line transversely into this passage opening. The passage opening and the at least one inlet opening opening transversely into the steam line, the steam pressure in this and the pressure and the pressure in the passage opening with flowing milk or milk/air mixture are so coordinated that the hot steam at the at least one transverse inlet opening condenses in the passage opening directly on contact with the milk or the milk/air mixture. Consequently the additional energy produced by the phase change from steam to condensate water is transmitted directly as heat to the heat in the milk or the milk/air mixture.
COOLING DEVICE FOR STORAGE CONTAINERS HAVING LIQUID FOODSTUFFS
In a cooling device (10) having a coolable storage chamber (15) for storing a plurality of storage containers (11, 12, 13, 14) having liquid foodstuffs to be made available for dispensing to a beverage dispensing device connected to the cooling device, two or more receiving compartments (21, 22, 23, 24) are provided, each of which receives one pump module (30, 30′, 30a, 30a′, 30a″, 30a′″) which is used to pump liquid foodstuff of a foodstuff type allocated to the relevant pump module to a beverage dispensing device connected to the cooling device.
