An automatic beverage system for producing a hot flavored beverage. The system includes a base unit having a water reservoir, a control system for heating liquid from the reservoir, a cartridge arm having a water injector and a cartridge holder, a pump and tubing system connecting the water reservoir to the cartridge holder and used to move water, the control system housed within the base unit and coupled to the heating element and pump to control temperature and movement of the liquid from the reservoir to the cartridge holder, and a container base positioned in an area adjacent the base unit and below the cartridge holder. The cartridge holder is adapted to receive interchangeable cartridges depending on the type and size of beverage desired. The interchangeable cartridges include a water cartridge, a pod cartridge, and a grounds cartridge.

The leak preventing device is provided at a position corresponding to the driving shaft hole and the leak preventing device is arranged to close the driving shaft hole when the driving shaft is detached from the driving shaft hole. A coffee machine with a leak preventing device includes a main body, a chamber for containing liquid and coffee particles, a grinding assembly for grinding coffee particles, and a driving mechanism for driving the grinding assembly. A driving shaft hole is provided in a bottom of the chamber. The driving shaft is detachably connected to the grinding assembly through the driving shaft hole. The leak preventing device is provided at a position corresponding to the driving shaft hole and the leak preventing device is arranged to close the driving shaft hole when the driving shaft is detached from the driving shaft hole. In addition, a working method for the coffee machine with the leak preventing device is also provided.

The beverage machine comprises: a machine body, a brewing mechanism, a frame, a boiler, a liquid pump, and a power supply board. The machine body further comprises a machine head, a body, and a base, connected in sequence from top to bottom; the brewing mechanism is detachably disposed on the machine head, and the brewing mechanism is provided with a brewing chamber; the frame is disposed within the body; the boiler, liquid pump, and power supply board are disposed on the frame; the boiler is connected to the brewing chamber, and the interior of the boiler is in communication with the external atmosphere; the liquid pump is connected between the boiler and the brewing chamber.

A motorized beverage machine (1) has: activation means that comprise a motor (3); and a brewing unit (2) that comprises a first assembly (13) and a second assembly (14) cooperating together, each assembly delimiting part of a brewing chamber (29) for containing an ingredient capsule (30). At least one of these assemblies (14) is: movable away from the cooperating assembly (13) into an open position within the machine for forming between the assemblies a passage (31) for inserting into and/or removing from the brewing unit the ingredient capsule; and movable to the cooperating assembly into a closed position for forming the brewing chamber. The motor is a low power motor configured to: generate a maximum torque of no more than 50 mNm; and/or consume a maximum power of no more than 50 W, for driving the movable assembly between the open and closed positions.

A novel self-tending coffee maker is disclosed. The device includes a top pot, a bottom pot, a funnel disposed between the top pot and bottom pot, a base disposed about the bottom pot, and a means for lifting the bottom pot away from the base. The lifting means may be pneumatically actuated such as by way of a pneumatically actuated piston arrangement, heat actuated, or the like. In a variant of the pneumatically actuated piston arrangement, the lifting means may further include a retaining screw in communication with the piston rod for creating a pre-load setting against the spring, wherein the retaining screw is coupled to the base. With this set-up, the funnel preferably includes at least two legs in communication with the top pot.
