A coffee machine with a leak preventing device includes a main body, a chamber for containing liquid and coffee particles, a grinding assembly for grinding coffee particles, and a driving mechanism for driving the grinding assembly. The chamber is provided in the main body and the grinding assembly is provided in the chamber. The driving mechanism is provided with a driving shaft. A driving shaft hole is provided in a bottom of the chamber. The driving shaft is detachably connected to the grinding assembly through the driving shaft hole. The leak preventing device is provided at a position corresponding to the driving shaft hole and the leak preventing device is arranged to close the driving shaft hole when the driving shaft is detached from the driving shaft hole. In addition, a working method for the coffee machine with the leak preventing device is also provided.

A coffee machine with a leak preventing device includes a main body, a first lid body, a brewing chamber, a water tank and a heating device, the brewing chamber. The water tank and the heating device are provided in the main body. The main body is provided with a main body opening, and the first lid body is used for covering the main body opening. The coffee machine further comprises a flow guiding device. The system comprising: a first and a second part having relative mobility and partially defining at least one receiving assembly to receive the package before positioning in an infusion position. When the first and second part are in a second relative position, the at least one support zone frees the passage of the package that allows the latter to reach, the infusion position. A metering device for a machine for making a liquid preparation includes a liquid reservoir for storing a fluid and for feeding, via an inlet line, at least one pump arranged to force the fluid to pass, in the liquid and/or vapour state, through at least one doser including at least one ingredient, in order to make the preparation, and to dispense the preparation to an outlet line. The metering device also includes means for continuously measuring the mass of the reservoir and of its contents, and control means interfaced with the continuous measurement means and arranged to monitor the total mass as a function of time, and to instantaneously calculate the mass of the preparation already dispensed, to adapt the duration of operation of the pump to ensure that the exact quantity of preparation required is dispensed, and/or to trigger the shutdown of the pump if it is found to be running dry.
