A method for manufacturing frying, grilling, baking, and/or cooking utensils involves creating a green body from powdery silicon carbide, carbon, fillers, binders, and additives using ceramic shaping methods such as pressing, isostatic pressing, hot pressing, casting, die casting, or injection molding. The green body is carbonized and subsequently infiltrated with a metallic silicon melt. Through a final infiltration firing, the green body, together with carbon, forms a silicon carbide bonding matrix, resulting in a dimensionally stable frying, grilling, baking, and/or cooking utensil of the highest stability without residual porosity and with a temperature resistance of up to 1,350? C. This method gives rise to the aforementioned cookware, produced through the described process.

Described herein are polymer compositions having a poly(ether sulfone) polymer and (i) a polysulfone polymer or (ii) a poly(phenyl sulfone) polymer. In some embodiments, the polymer compositions can optionally include one or more additives. It has been surprisingly found that the aforementioned polymer compositions have outstanding anti-stick properties with respect to proteins.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING INTERMEDIATE MATERIAL FOR COOKING DEVICE AND INTERMEDIATE MATERIAL FOR COOKING DEVICE PRODUCED ACCORDING TO SAID MANUFACTURING METHOD

A method for producing an intermediate material for a cooking device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: repeating a cycle of applying a dispersion of a fluororesin and an inorganic filler or a dispersion of a fluororesin alone to a supporter and firing the applied dispersion so as to form a multilayered fluororesin film, followed by exfoliating the multilayered fluororesin film from the supporter to acquire the multilayered fluororesin film beforehand; providing the pre-acquired fluororesin film on a metal-substrate; and thermally compressing the fluororesin film and the metal substrate. In addition, an organic compound-containing primer or adhesive is not used in the thermocompression step.

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for prompting a remaining service life of a cooking device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining cooking operation information of a cooking process performed by the cooking device; determining a life loss of the cooking device based on the cooking operation information of the cooking process; determining a remaining service life of the cooking device according to the life loss; and prompting the remaining service life of the cooking device.

METHOD OF TREATING A SURFACE OF A UTENSIL
20180311790 · 2018-11-01 ·

The present invention relates to a method of treating a surface of a utensil as well as to a utensil having been treated by the method. A substrate is provided to form a component of the utensil. The substrate has a surface area to be treated. Through a shot peening process particles impact the substrate substantially evenly across the surface area, so as to dimple the substrate with depressions across the surface area, in order to reduce adhesion of matter on the treated surface area of the utensil.
