Embodiments described herein are directed to an apparatus for retaining heat dissipated from an oven. The apparatus may comprise a sheet material sized to cover a portion of a front of the oven and at least one attachment connected to the sheet material. The sheet material may comprise an absorbent fabric for retaining a heat-absorbing compound. The at least one attachment may be configured to hold one side of the sheet material substantially flush against the front of the oven after the sheet material has retained the heat absorbing compound.

The present disclosure also provides a method for manufacturing of the cooking utensil. The present disclosure fully realizes the heat conduction between the blank and the food through the sheet-like graphene, the sheet-like graphene derivative or the combination thereof, and effectively improves the heating speed and the heating uniformity.

A slow cooker liner. The slow cooker liner includes a substantially flat base having an outer edge forming an oval shape. A sidewall extends vertically from the outer edge of the base, the sidewall having an oblong frusto conical shape. The sidewall includes a bottom rim having a smaller diameter than a top rim. The bottom rim is attached to the base and the top rim forms an opening leading into a receptacle of the liner. An inner and outer surface of the sidewall includes a constant taper from the bottom rim to the top rim. The substantially flat base and the sidewall are made of silicone.

Multizone cooking utilizing a spectral-configurable cooking instrument
Several embodiments include a cooking instrument. The cooking instrument can select a food cooking recipe and identify relative areas in a cooking chamber to place at least two portions of food. The relative areas would match the food cooking recipe. The cooking instrument can display information associated with an instruction to place the at least two portions of food over the relative areas. The cooking instrument can then determine a heating sequence in accordance with the food cooking recipe and control, based on the heating sequence, a heating system to directionally transfer heat under different heating characteristics respectively to the at least two portions of the food at the identified relative areas in the cooking chamber.
