A pressure cooking appliance is provided. The pressure cooking appliance comprises a cooker body and a lid, the lid comprising an upper lid portion, and a lower lid portion lockingly covering the cooker body to form a pressurized cooking chamber therebetween. The upper lid portion covers the lower lid portion from above, and comprises a main lid body and a removable cover, the main lid body comprising an opening portion formed at a central portion of the main lid body for exposing the lower lid portion, the removable cover being removably attachable to the opening portion and operable to expose a portion of the lower lid portion for accelerated cooling of the cooking chamber and speeding up wait time for opening the lid. Further, cooling towel or cooling pack can be placed at the opening portion to help with cooling and allow food to be enjoyed sooner.

An embodiment described in examples herein provides a leak resistant cooking pan. The leak resistant cooking pan includes a body and a lid. The lid includes a grooved rim sized to fit over a top edge of a sidewall of the body, wherein the grooved rim includes a heat resistant elastomer, and wherein the heat resistant elastomer forms a seal between the lid and the body.

An embodiment described in examples herein provides a leak resistant cooking pan. The leak resistant cooking pan includes a body and a lid. The lid includes a grooved rim sized to fit over a top edge of a sidewall of the body, wherein the grooved rim includes a heat resistant elastomer, and wherein the heat resistant elastomer forms a seal between the lid and the body.

A cooking appliance is provided. The cooking appliance comprises a cooker body for receiving food and a lid for covering the cooker body. The cooking appliance has a front side for facilitating cooking operations and a rear side spaced apart from the front side. The cooker body comprises at least one latch slot disposed on an inclined rear side of the cooker body. The lid comprises at least one latch bar disposed on a periphery thereof and extending outwardly therefrom. When the lid is detached from the cooker body, the latch bar is operable to be inserted into the corresponding latch slot to secure the lid at the inclined rear side of the cooker body, allowing a user to secure the lid to the latch slot without reaching a rear side of the cooker body by hand, and to retrieve the food without accidentally contacting the lid.

The present invention provides a combination pressure cooker and air fryer lid that may be attached to a vessel. The lid may be adjustable between two general cooking positions. In the first cooking position, the lid may operate with the vessel as a pressure cooker. In the second cooking position, the may operate with the vessel as an air fryer. In performing either of the pressure cooking or air fryer cooking functions, the lid need not be replaced.

The present invention provides a combination pressure cooker and air fryer lid that may be selectively coupled to a vessel. When the lid and the vessel are coupled, the lid may be adjustable between two positions. In the first position, the lid may be used for pressure cooking. In the second position, the lid may be used for air frying. To transition the lid from the first position to the second position, a handle on the lid may be rotated in a particular direction. The air fryer comprises a support structure removably assembled to the lid assembly; wherein the support structure is operable to be seated on a working surface for supporting the lid assembly, thereby providing convenient placement of the lid assembly.
