Disclosed herein is a cooking system for cooking food, the system including a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive a food container. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to the hollow chamber. A food container having a hollow container interior is positionable within the hollow chamber. An end of the food container extends above the upper portion of the housing when the container is installed within the hollow chamber. A lid is moveably attached to the housing and is moveable between a first position that covers the upper portion of the housing and the opening to the hollow chamber when the food container is installed within the hollow chamber and a second position where the lid does not cover the opening to the hollow chamber. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of said lid and said housing.
LID OPENER AND AUTOMATIC COOKING APPLIANCE HAVING SAME
Proposed are a lid opener and an automatic cooking appliance having the same. The lid opener includes a main pivot rod having a first fixing pin and a second fixing pin, and a moving pivot rod which is coupled to the first fixing pin and rotates. A lid is opened vertically upward by using the moving pivot rod pinned to the first fixing pin for an initial period of time t1 for which the lid is opened from a container, and after that, the lid is opened by rotating the main pivot rod relative to the second fixing pin. When opening the lid from the container by applying the automatic appliance having a simple structure, the lid is opened vertically upward at an initial state such that steam inside the container is released and liquid sticking to the lower surface of the lid falls into the container.

COVER OR LID COUNTERBALANCE ASSEMBLY
A lid counterbalance assembly for a grill, the grill including a lid and a base, the lid counterbalance assembly including a pulley assembly including at least one pulley, the pulley assembly rotatably connected to the base, a spring connected to the pulley assembly via a first line, and a second line including a first end connected to the pulley assembly and a second end connected to the lid, wherein the second end is rotatable and translatable with respect to the lid.

Lid holder
A lid holder is a device for temporarily holding cooking pot container lids for cooking pots while cooking. The lid holder prevents lid condensate from dripping on the countertop without the need for a drip pan. The lid holder is simple, inexpensive, and easy to construct. The lid holder is formed from a continuous solid rod or wire with only four bends and a single connection point. The lid holder is shaped into an inverted U-shaped loop structure with a top section and a base section. The lid rests on the top section and the bottom section rests on the countertop. The loop is closed and joined together at a connection point by a weld or solder joint.

SYSTEM FOR DETECTING A POSSIBILITY OF BOILING OVER AND PREVENTING SAID BOILING OVER
A system for detecting a possibility of boiling over and preventing said boiling over, the system comprising a vessel (101) having a lid (102), the lid (102) being characterised in that it is configured: to receive information on an initial level of a vessel content and a current level of the vessel content; and based on a difference between the initial level and the current level as well as the time of a creation of said difference: to instruct, by means of a controller (203), a height actuator (207) of the lid (102) to extend said lid (102) vertically, in order to extend the height of said vessel (101); and to instruct, by means of a controller (203), an aperture actuator (206) to create an aperture in a top of the lid (102) in order to facilitate exchange of heat.
