The present invention relates to a multipurpose heating plate and a system designed to maintain food items at an optimal or elevated temperature for consumption. More specifically, the plate includes a heating element embedded within the plate, and disposed between a top surface and a bottom surface. The heating element radiates heat to maintain the warmth of the food placed on the top surface for a prolonged period of time to avoid deterioration of the food. The plate can include an insulating cover comprising silicone or rubber. A storage and charging rack includes a plurality of slots for storing the warmer plates. Each slot includes a charging slot for charging the heating element. The warmer plate also includes a charging port for engaging with the charging slot, thereby enabling the heating element to charge.

A cooking system includes a placement unit which has a food-holding element and a heating unit for heating the food-holding element. An induction unit provides in at least one operating state an amount of heating energy for inductively heating the food-holding element. The heating unit includes a heating element which is different from an induction heating element and is provided for heating the food-holding element.

An electric heater includes a substrate (an insulating material capable of forming a conductor pattern on a surface of an insulating substrate), a first plane heating element formed on one surface of the substrate, and a second plane heating element formed on one surface of the substrate to be located outside the first plane heating element. The first plane heating element includes a first pattern portion connecting a start point with an end point located in a first zone, a pair of first electrodes located outside the first zone, and a pair of first connectors connecting the first pattern portion with the first electrodes. The second plane heating element includes a second pattern portion located in a second zone surrounding the first zone and connecting a start point with an end point, and at least some of the first connectors are located in the second zone.

Radiant furniture made of a concrete mix includes one or more heating elements or hot water supplied hydronic tubing that provide comfortable radiant heat. Tabletops can be heated to a temperature that is comfortable for people seated at the table. Benches and seats can be heated to provide comfortable heated seating. Combinations can also be used together, such as a heated tabletop with heated seats. A controller senses the temperature of the furniture and the ambient temperature, then applies power to one or more heating elements in the furniture according to programmed temperature thresholds to provide comfortable radiant heat from the furniture. The controller includes a calibration mode that allows calibrating the controller to a particular heated surface. The controller further comprises a knob that determines an operating mode for the controller and allows adjusting a temperature threshold for the heated surface up or down.

Devices, systems, and methods are provided for heating and cooling substances, such as food and beverages. A portable device may have an exterior surface and an interior surface, with one or more heating elements positioned at least partially between the exterior surface and the interior surface, and with one or more cooling elements positioned at least partially between the exterior surface and the interior surface. The portable device may include one or more power sources operatively connected to the one or more heating elements and the one or more cooling element, and may include at least one processor that controls, based on the one or more power sources, activation of one of the one or more heating elements or the one or more cooling elements at a time.

An electronic stove incorporates a cylindrical outer shell and a concentric copper heater core. A foil heater surrounds the copper heater core and a heater control PCB carried in the outer shell is connected to the foil heater. A battery assembly has a cylindrical second outer shell carrying a battery pack. A power controller carried in the second outer shell is connected to the battery pack. A connector carriage is engaged between the battery assembly and cylindrical outer shell, extending through the shell of the battery assembly and received in the cylindrical outer shell aligned proximate a lower surface of the first outer shell whereby the lower surfaces of the first outer shell and the second outer shell are in planar alignment. A first contact set of a connector is connected to the heater control PCB. A second contact is connected to the power controller.

An intelligent heating system and method for providing varied heating experiences to food product packages and their contents in connection with pick-up food service, delivery food service, or both. The intelligent heating system dynamically controls energy provided to food packages and their contents in order to provide different heating experiences. The system can use location information to heat the food just before pick-up or delivery to enhance the consumption experience. The system can also control temperature to reduce the amount of condensation that forms within the package.

An induction well includes a tank configured to store a substance, a first induction coil positioned around a first portion of the tank, a second induction coil positioned around a second portion of the tank, and a single power inverter coupled in parallel with the first induction coil and the second induction coil.

Devices for prolonging the quality of a warm food item contained within the device, the devices include an enclosure configured to receive the warm food item, the enclosure including a floor, a ceiling opposite the floor, sidewalk extending from the floor to the ceiling and defining an opening, the sidewalls, the floor, and the ceiling collectively defining an interior void of the enclosure, and a door operatively connected to the sidewalk in a position covering the opening in a closed position and configured to selectively move to an open position to provide access to the interior void through the opening, a convection heat source mounted inside the enclosure and configured to direct heated air within the enclosure, and a ventilation system mounted to the enclosure and configured to move air through the enclosure.

An electric heater includes a. substrate and an inner plane heating element formed on one surface of the substrate. The inner plane heating element includes an inner pattern portion connecting a start point with an end point. The inner pattern portion includes a first track, a second track located outside the first track and spaced part from the first track, a first bridge connecting the first track with one end of the second track, a third track located outside the second track and spaced apart from the second track, and a second bridge connecting the other end of the second track with the third track. A first gap G1 between the first and second tracks is shorter than a second gap G2 between the second and third tracks along a virtual line crossing the first, second and third tracks and closer to the first bridge than the second bridge.
