Rotary Slurry Injector
20180054948 · 2018-03-01 ·

Applicator embodiments are provided for applying liquid livestock waste in the form of a slurry beneath the soil surface. Some embodiments include a leading swivel-mounted, spring-cushioned, conical-shaped wavy coulter blade angularly offset from the direction of travel which displaces the soil laterally in forming a furrow adapted to receive slurry. The coulter may be trailed by a single or a pair of optionally spring-cushioned rotary closing blade(s) that are to close the furrow containing the deposited liquid. One or more rotary closing blade(s) is optionally spring loaded to follow the soil contour. Some alternative embodiments utilize a rotary covering blade pivot assembly that is positioned lower and more forward, a larger spring for more blade depth, and/or a single or a pair of rotary covering blades for a scooping movement of the soil and results in more soil to cover the deposited liquid. In various embodiments, a number of injector units are mounted in a side-by-side relation in a spaced manner and springs maintain individual assembly alignment when blades are not engaged in the soil.

Distributor device for solids-containing liquids

A distributor device for solids-containing liquids includes a distribution chamber with an inlet opening which leads to a chamber interior space of the distribution chamber, wherein the distribution chamber has a first end wall with several connection ports and a first side wall arranged laterally to the end wall. The distributor device also includes a connecting part connecting the rotor and the blade drive shaft, which connecting part is detachably connected to the rotor and/or to the blade drive shaft, wherein a movement of the rotor is guided by the connecting part relative to the first perforated blade disk. The distribution chamber has at least one closable opening which is located in the first side wall, wherein the opening is designed at least so large that the rotor is removable from the distribution chamber through the opening.

SPREADER ASSEMBLY

A spreader assembly to distribute materials on a ground surface, including a container to hold the materials, a frame affixed to the container, a beater assembly supported by the frame that receives the materials from the container and processes the materials to obtain processed materials, and a spinner assembly that receives the processed materials and expulses the processed materials from the frame onto the ground surface. The beater assembly includes a pair of rotating elements that blends the materials to produce the processed materials, and a deflector located between the pair of rotating elements configured to prevent the formation of agglomerates in the processed materials.

Pasture and paddock tender

The apparatus is a tender that removes horse manure from pastures and paddocks by collecting stools of manure, grinding the manure and returning it back to the pasture as fertilizer. The tender can also process collected manure, moving it and distributing it to locations needing biomass. The tender is a specialized sled, which can be towed by small vehicle, such as a golf cart. When towed through a pasture, the tender scrapes up the horse manure, grinds it into small granules without hurting the grass, and then spreads it over a wide elongate area, utilizing a unique knife and a partitioned mesh in a structural frame. The tender has a removable bed liner for that retains some or all materials, such as collected manure, for transporting the materials, where it can be dumped or be distributed as a granular biomass.

Spreader assembly

A spreader assembly for spreading sand or salt comprised of a molded, double-walled hopper having a bin portion and leg portions. The hopper has an inner wall and an outer wall, wherein the inner wall has a front end section and opposing side sections. The end sections and the side sections define a media-holding chamber within the bin portion of the hopper. The chamber has a generally rectangular upper portion, a funnel-shaped lower portion and a bottom having an opening extending through the bin portion. The funnel-shaped lower portion of the chamber slopes toward the opening. The outer wall of the hopper defines the leg portions, and the leg portions are dimensioned to extend below the opening in the bin portion.

Materials spreader

A material spreader attached to and towed by an agricultural vehicle for spreading material such as organic material and fertilizers over a ground surface. The material spreader having a containment box and a material expeller, the expeller having rotating flails positioned along a substantially vertical axis with one or more sets of paddles swingably connected to the flails and the paddles are axially spaced apart along the flail above and below the material spreader floor a desired distance to enhance flow-through of rocks, manure and other organic material and fertilizers.
