Transversely-loadable rotisserie skewer racks for grills
Example transversely-loadable rotisserie skewer racks are disclosed. An example rotisserie skewer rack includes a first support plate and a second support plate spaced apart from the first support plate. The example rotisserie skewer rack further includes a plurality of skewers extending between the first support plate and the second support plate. The example rotisserie skewer rack includes a first mounting bracket coupled to the first support plate, and a second mounting bracket coupled to the second support plate. The first mounting bracket and the second mounting bracket are respectively configured to be transversely loadable onto a rotisserie spit.
Oven rotisserie
A system and method for cooking food on a rotisserie in a conventional oven includes setting an oven thermostat to a desired cooking temperature. As spring on a mechanical drive motor is wound and a spit is placed through meat. The spit is then placed on a support to hold the meat in a substantially horizontal position, and the spit is coupled to a mechanical drive motor. The oven rotisserie and meat are placed into the oven to commence a cooking operation. The spit is rotated intermittently via the mechanical drive motor during the cooking operation in accordance with operation of an escapement and gear of the mechanical drive motor. The oven rotisserie and meat are removed from the oven after completion of the cooking operation.
CERAMIC COOKER ROTISSERIE
A rotisserie device useful in a partially opened kettle grill includes a support ring that is shaped and configured to inhibit airflow into and out of the grill when the cover is partially opened. The support ring includes one or more cover supporting portions or chocks that hold the cover and base apart when the cover is partially opened, and one or more apertures through the ring that can receive a rotatable spindle which serves as or which drives a removable, rotatable rotisserie spit.
Rotisserie turkey deep fryer
A deep fryer and related methods of frying a whole turkey in a reduced cooking oil volume. A frying basin can have a rounded profile avoiding dead spaces within the frying basin. The frying basin can include a recessed channel at a bottommost portion of the frying basin to accommodate a heating element, such that the heating element does not project above a floor of the frying basin. The deep fryer can have a rotisserie assembly for mounting and rotating the whole turkey such that only a lower half of the whole turkey is submerged within the cooking oil at any one time. The deep fryer can include a kick-stand feature that allows a user to lower and raise the rotisserie assembly including the whole turkey using only one hand such that a user need not lean over or otherwise put their hands or body above the frying basin.
