A tool for use with food items; the tool includes a rod and a removable, disposable skewer. The skewer is removably inserted into a skewer-holder-end of the rod and held in place therein. The skewer is then used for holding a food item and roasting or cooking it over a heat source. Preferably, the tool is used for holding a food item such as a marshmallow and roasting it over a campfire.
Combustible fuel burning stove with spark arrestor
Disclosed is a stove having a top portion including a spark arrestor which includes a base assembly comprising a base ring, a base crown, a mesh side screen connecting the base ring and the base crown, and at least one handle, and a top assembly comprising a top crown, a mesh top screen extending from the top crown, and at least one handle, wherein the base assembly is sized to fit removably onto the top portion of the stove such that the base assembly is configured to block sparks or embers produced by the stove, and wherein the top assembly fits removably onto the base crown such that the top assembly is configured to block sparks or embers produced by the stove.
Toaster
The invention provides an appliance for making a hollow toasted food product. The appliance includes a pair of opposed parts which is hingedly connected along one side such that opposed surfaces can, in use, be folded onto each other, a heating element in heat communication with each surface, a hollow formed in one or each opposed heating surface, such that a cavity is formed when the parts are folded closed onto each other, and wherein the opposed edges of each hollow is proximate each other, when closed. The appliance further includes an inside mould of which the outer surface is complementary and smaller than the inner surface of the cavity.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOKING A SKEWERED FOOD ITEM
A turkey cooking apparatus provides a pot and a specially configured insert (e.g., basket) that rests upon the pot bottom. A lower funnel shaped section and upper tube shaped section are provided inside the pot. The insert (e.g., basket) sits upon funnel shaped portion. The insert has a central opening that is receptive of the tubed portion. Both the insert and the tube section can have openings that enable steam to travel upwardly to cook the turkey carcass.
KAMADO COOKER ROTISSERIE
A rotisserie device useful in a partially opened, hinged, covered grill includes a support ring that is shaped and configured to inhibit airflow into and out of the grill when the cover is partially opened. The support ring includes one or more cover supporting portions or chocks that hold the cover and base apart when the cover is partially opened, and one or more apertures through the ring that can receive a rotatable spindle which serves as or which drives a removable, rotatable rotisserie spit.
Frying Assembly for Flipping Food
A frying assembly for flipping or rotating food in a pan is provided. The frying assembly safely allows a user to flip the racks of the frying assembly holding food from a first side to a second side, without having to individually rotate each piece of food. The frying assembly includes a pair of movable racks that are separated to form an interior space that is able to receive food. The racks are movable relative to each other, such that foods of various sizes may be sandwiched between the racks. Each rack includes apertures that allow fluid, such as oil, to contact the food and thereby cook it and an interior face having a plurality of tines protruding towards the interior space for securing the food. A handle extends from a bracket that is in turn secured to the racks.
Apparatus and method for preparing cooked food
An apparatus for cooked food includes a spatula assembly defining a plate having a plate first end portion, a plate second end portion, a plate cooking surface and a plate non-cooking surface. The plate first end portion is pivotally in attachment with a spatula assembly cross member of the spatula assembly. The plate is configured to move between a plate upper position and a plate lower position. The apparatus further includes a movable wiper assembly defining an elongated body having a movable wiper cleaning surface along the elongated body. The movable wiper assembly is positioned proximate to the plate and configured to have the movable wiper cleaning surface move across the plate cooking surface when plate is in the plate lower position.
Hot dog roller and grill basket
A food grilling device includes a lower portion for holding food, an upper portion for trapping food between the upper and lower portions, and a sliding, adjustment mechanism. The upper portion is positioned over the lower portion and is movable relative to the lower portion. The sliding, adjustment mechanism is coupled between the lower portion and the upper portion and permits the upper portion to move forward, rearwardly, upwardly, and downwardly relative to the lower portion. The food grilling device has an open position and a closed position. In the open position, food is inserted between the lower and upper portions. In the closed position, food is trapped in the food grilling device by pressure or friction exerted on the food by the upper portion. Movement of the upper portion relative to the lower portion in a forward and rearward direction turns the food positioned between the upper and lower portions.
Barbecue cooking apparatus
A barbecue cooking apparatus is an apparatus used to cook food items by utilizing different barbecue smoking methods. The apparatus includes a barrel, a lid, a frame, a shelved cooking system, a venting system, a winch mechanism, a lip, and a firebox gasket. The barrel provides a thermal enclosure for cooking the food items. The lid serves to close the barrel and to support the shelved cooking system. The lip and the firebox gasket seal the lid on the barrel when closed. The shelved cooking system holds both the food items within the barrel during the cooking process and the fuel source utilized to generate the heat energy to cook the food items. The frame holds the winch mechanism offset from the barrel. The winch mechanism facilitates the retrieval of the shelved cooking system from the barrel as well as the reintroduction of the shelved cooking system into the barrel.
