Provided is an apparatus for cooking a food cooked by contact, characterized in that the apparatus is made to transmit information to a user after a period of time during which the food is heated by the resistor(s) has elapsed, said period of time depending on at least one value of the internal cooking temperature of the food, which is prestored in a memory of the apparatus at the factory prior to the first operational use thereof.

A food heating appliance primarily directed for cooking tacos comprises a frame, a heating element assembly connected to the frame, and a grill panel connected to the frame. The grill panel has an articulated form which defines several spaced apart troughs with trough having a bottom portion at a bottom level and a top portion at a top level above the bottom level. In various preferred embodiments, the grill panel articulated only on one axis so that each trough has a constant cross section, and has opposed upper portions at the top level. The grill surface panel may be an integral sheet of metal. A food preparation apparatus includes a cooker assembly, a food delivery mechanism, a food release mechanism, a food removal mechanism, and a food transport mechanism. A stepless height-adjustable grill, an inclined rail is disposed on one side of a base body, and a corresponding connecting rod is provided with a slidable height fixing slider which is positioned on the inclined rail. The inclined rail is provided with a lock-up edge, while the height fixing slider is provided with a lock; when the height fixing slider is positioned on the inclined rail, the lock is interlocked with the lock-up edge by means of the spring force of a spring to position the height fixing slider on the inclined rail. The lock is provided with a release portion which overcomes the spring force of the spring to release the interlocking between the lock and the lock-up edge. The interlocking between the lock and the lock-up edge can be released by operating the release portion, and the upper cover component can be freely lifted by a handle.

An induction cooking system including a first shell including a first housing, a first plate coupled to the first housing, and a first induction coil within the first housing. The induction cooking system also includes a second shell coupled to the first shell, the second shell including a second housing, a second plate coupled to the second housing, and a second induction coil within the second housing. The induction cooking system further includes a first temperature sensor for sensing a first plate temperature, a second temperature sensor for sensing a second plate temperature, and a controller. A smoker apparatus is disclosed that provides a smoker cabinet having upper and lower end portions. The cabinet has a top, a bottom and a side wall or walls and an interior. The cabinet includes a plurality of vertically spaced apart shelves mounted within the cabinet interior. A cabinet door that enables access to the shelves. A gaseous fuel supplied burner element is positioned next to the lower end portion of the cabinet, the burner element being removably connectable to a source of gaseous fuel. A pair of containers is mounted within the cabinet below the shelves and above the burner element. One of the containers is preferably a water container for containing water. The other of the containers being a wood chips container for containing wood chips, wherein the wood chips container is positioned in between the water container and the burner element. A slide bracket supports the containers, the slide bracket positioned generally in between the burner element and the shelves. An access door is provided that is much smaller than the cabinet door, the access door extending vertically a distance at least spanning the vertical dimension of the containers. Either container can be removed laterally from the cabinet at least a partial distance by sliding it laterally upon the slide bracket and at least partially through the access door.

A food carrier for use in a cooking space of a cooking appliance has a first cooking area and a second cooking area on which a food to be cooked can be placed. The cooking areas can in particular be grilling areas. The first and the second cooking areas are arranged on opposite sides of the food carrier, and each of the first and second cooking areas has a structuring. The structuring of the first cooking area is different from the structuring of the second cooking area.
