Grill with battery power system and measurement
A portable grill with a battery power system includes a primary direct-current power source and a secondary direct-current power source. The primary power source can connect onto the outside of the grill via a clip. The secondary power source, which can be disposed within the grill so as not to be exposed to outside elements, can continue to power the grill when the user removes and/or replaces the primary power source during the operation of the grill. A user feedback system can remotely alert the user with information regarding the time or power remaining in the primary power source.
GRILL GRATE CLEANING TOOL
A cleaning tool for cleaning accumulated charred food material on grill grates. The cleaning tool is of a two-prong tuning fork shape that has a handle and a cleaning head. A shaft extends between the two prongs of the cleaning head. Several cleaning discs are slidably provided between the two prongs over the shaft wherein two adjacent cleaning discs are separated by one or more spacer discs. the cleaning discs scrap the accumulated material from the grill bars.
PASSIVELY COOLED ALUMINUM BARBECUE PIT
A powder coated aluminum barbecue pit burner that burns gas in the same way that stainless steel burner tubes do, but last longer and do not rust. The use of powder coated aluminum makes the burner according to the present invention corrosion resistant. Additionally, the powder coated aluminum burner of the present invention also contain a heat sink element that prevents the temperature of the tubes from getting too high. Controlling temperature and using powder coated aluminum burners, instead of stainless steel, ensures that the burner will last longer. Another embodiment utilizes a water cooled system in connection with the heat sink element.
Mountable trays for temperature probe hubs
Mountable trays for temperature probe hubs are disclosed. An example mountable tray includes a central portion, a peripheral portion, and a mounting arm. The central portion includes at least one drainage opening extending through the central portion. The peripheral portion is coupled to and extends upwardly from the central portion. The mounting arm is coupled to and extends upwardly from the peripheral portion. The mounting arm is configured to mount the mountable tray to a flange.
Selectively securable grill cover
A grill cover is configured to be utilized with a grill having a metallic component, the grill cover includes a cover body, a magnetic fastener, and a secondary fastener. The cover body presents an outer edge disposed along a bottom side and a cover void therein configured to receive the grill therein. The magnetic fastener and the secondary fastener are each secured to the cover body. The magnetic fastener is configured to provide a magnetic force to keep the magnetic fastener selectively secured to the metallic component of the grill so as to keep the cover body in place around the grill therein. The secondary fastener is configured to reduce a cross-sectional area of the cover void so as to prevent the grill cover from being removed from the grill while the secondary fastener is emplaced.
Thermometer device for a smoker
A thermometer device including a shaft assembly, a heat fin assembly, and an electronic transceiver assembly is disclosed herein. The thermometer device includes a stainless-steel shaft body with a pointed distal end having temperature sensing elements housed in the body. The thermometer device further includes a T-shaped heat sink extending from the shaft portion near the proximal end. The proximal end of the body is mounted to an electronic transceiver module capable of wirelessly communicating the sensed temperature to an electronic mobile device. The electronic transceiver module includes a digital display for displaying the presently sensed temperature.
Regulator
A regulator assembly is disclosed. The regulator assembly can include a regulator having a gas inlet and a gas outlet. The regulator assembly can also include an extension pipe having a proximal end and a distal end. The regulator assemble can also include an orifice disposed in the extension pipe for modification of the gas flow.
Indirect air flow system
Disclosed is an outdoor cooking appliance with ductwork that directs heat and smoke more evenly in the cook chamber of the appliance. For example, the ductwork can extend from the heat source of the appliance and direct the smoke to openings in rack holders that then dispel the smoke into the cook chamber more evenly. The burn pot assembly can also be segregated from the grease pan to avoid the potential for grease fires.
Fire starter tube
A flammable tube has a plurality of air passages formed along the length of the flammable tube. A support member is positioned in an interior of the flammable tube. The support member is spaced apart from the lower end of the flammable tube. Solid fuel is positioned on the support member. A flame is introduced to the solid fuel which is within the interior of the tube which ignites the solid fuel, such as charcoal. The charcoal burns away the flammable tube and the support member. The flammable tube may be placed within a grill of the type used to cook food or other container that is nonflammable, and which provides a receptacle for the burning solid fuel without the need of a specialized grilling apparatus.
Portable grills
Portable grills are disclosed. An example portable grill movable between an erected configuration and a collapsed configuration includes a frame and a leg unit coupled to the frame. The leg unit includes a first leg, a second leg spaced apart from the first leg, and a support bar coupled to and extending between the first and second legs. The support bar further extends at an angle away from the first and second legs. The support bar is configured to contact an underlying surface to support the portable grill when the portable grill is in the collapsed configuration and oriented horizontally relative to the underlying surface. The support bar is further configured to provide a handle by which the portable grill can be hung when the portable grill is in the collapsed configuration and oriented vertically relative to the underlying surface.
