METHOD OF DETECTION OF ANALYTE ACTIVE FORMS AND DETERMINATION OF THE ABILITY OF SUBSTANCES TO BIND INTO ANALYTE ACTIVE SITES
A method for detection of active form of analytes in a sample and/or for determination of ability of tested substances to bind to the active site of these analytes has the following steps: a) analyte or group of analytes from the sample is immobilized on the surface of a solid carrier; b) analyte or group of analytes is incubated with a detection probe; c) then the solid carrier is washed to remove unbound detection probe; and subsequently, the amount of bound detection probe is determined.
CARBONIC ANHYDRASE VARIANTS FOR IMPROVED CO2 CAPTURE
Recombinant carbonic anhydrase variants having improved solubility and/or thermostability for enzyme-enhanced CO2 capture are provided. Host cells, methods, and processes relating to same are also provided.
RATE ENHANCEMENT OF GAS CAPTURE PROCESSES
The present invention relates to a method of capturing CO.sub.2 from a gas stream. The method uses a two liquid phase capture composition.
BICYCLIC PEPTIDE LIGANDS SPECIFIC FOR CAIX
The present invention relates to polypeptides which are covalently bound to aromatic molecular scaffolds such that two or more peptide loops are subtended between attachment points to the scaffold. In particular, the invention describes peptides which are high affinity binders of carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX).The invention also includes dmg conjugates comprising said peptides, conjugated to one or more effector and/or functional groups, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said peptide ligands and drug conjugates and to the use of said peptide ligands and drug conjugates in preventing, suppressing or treating a disease or disorder mediated by CAIX.
METHOD FOR TREATING GLIOBLASTOMA
Disclosed is a method for treating glioblastoma or other brain tumors. The method includes steps of preparing cells comprising a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) molecule and administering to a mammal in need thereof an effective amount of the prepared cells. Also disclosed is that the CAR molecule contains an antigen binding domain that binds to the tumor antigen associated with the glioblastoma or other brain tumors, and the tumor antigen is carbonic anhydrase IX.
CA IX - NIR DYES AND THEIR USES
The present disclosure relates to compounds that are useful as near-infrared fluorescence probes, wherein the compounds include i) a ligand that binds to the active site of carbonic anhydrase, ii) a dye molecule, and iii) a linker molecule that comprises an amino acid, amide, ureido, or polyethylene glycol derivative thereof. The disclosure further describes methods and compositions for making and using the compounds, methods incorporating the compounds, and kits incorporating the compounds.
Heat-stable metagenomic carbonic anhydrases and their use
The present invention relates to polypeptides having carbonic anhydrase activity and polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides as well as methods of producing and using the polypeptides.
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR THE PREVENTION OR TREATMENT OF POST-SURGICAL PAIN
The present invention relates to an anti-IL-6 agent for use in a method of preventing or treating post-operative pain in an individual.
Dual-targeted carbonic anhydrase ix complex and contrast agent thereof
Disclosed herein are a dual-targeted carbonic anhydrase IX complex, a contrast agent comprising the same, and a synthesizing method thereof. The dual-targeted carbonic anhydrase IX complex includes a carbonic anhydrase IX (CA9) binding peptide, a sulfonamide derivative, and a metal chelating agent. The dual-targeted carbonic anhydrase IX complex has potential for use as a molecular nuclear drug.
Microorganism loaded aggregate and manufacturing methods
The invention is directed to compositions, tools and methods for the manufacture of construction materials, masonry, solid structures and compositions to facilitate dust control. More particularly, the invention is directed to the manufacture of bricks, masonry and other solid structures using small amount of aggregate material that is pre-loaded with spores and/or vegetative bacterial cells.
