Automated cooking system
The present application discloses an automated cooking system comprising: a cooking apparatus comprising a cooking container configured to hold food or food ingredients and a stirring motion mechanism configured to produce a motion in the cooking container as to stir, mix or distribute the food or food ingredients held in the cooking container; a plurality of ingredient containers each configured to contain food ingredients; an ingredient dispensing apparatus configured to turn an ingredient container to dispense the food ingredients from an ingredient container into the cooking container; a transfer apparatus configured to move an ingredient container; a plurality of food containers each configured to hold a cooked food; a cooking container unloading mechanism configured to turn the cooking container to dispense cooked food from the cooking container to a food container which is positioned near to the cooking container; a receiving apparatus configured to hold a plurality of food containers; a food container transfer apparatus configured to grip and move a food container; a cyclic transport apparatus configured to move a plurality of food containers which are placed on container holders in the cyclic transport apparatus; a lid apparatus configured to limit the food or food ingredient held by the cooking container from jumping out of the cooking container, wherein the lid apparatus may also be configured to limit heat leakage during a cooking using a heater; and, a cleaning apparatus configured to wash or otherwise clean the cooking container after a cooked food is produced.
Moreover, a cooking system may comprise a computer system with algorithms configured to control these mechanisms and apparatuses.
Nonstick composite materials and molded nonstick cookware
Heat resistant and/or nonstick polymer materials and composites, and cookware including a food support surface comprising an integrated or attached cooking surface formed of the materials and composites. The cookware includes a laminate material with structural rigidity, wherein the laminate material includes a flexible substrate impregnated with the heat resistant polymer material and/or coated with a nonstick coating, and pressed or molded in a shaped cookware or other nonstick items or component. Various cooking devices can be pressed from the material, as well as oven or vehicle components.
Food Press with Adjustable legs
This invention relates to a device and method for cooking bacon. The Bacon Press with adjustable legs is comprised of a steel plate threaded with adjustable legs so that the user can control the distance between the plate and the cooking surface. The plate may be in various shapes. The plate may contain holes for viewing food while cooking.
Sausage cookware
Sausage cookware includes a hollow pan having a cooking surface with multiple undulations that partially conform to the outer circumference of a link sausage. Other embodiments include an insert for converting the flat cooking surface of a conventional frying pan or electric cooker to an undulated surface that more efficiently cooks link sausages.
FRYPAN WITH SPLATTERING FENDER
A frypan has a splattering fender detachably sitting on the pan body to blocking splattering of cooking oil or food during cooking.
AIR-BASED FRYER PAN
An apparatus, pan and method for the preparation of food with hot air including a pan bottom providing a pan surface area for receiving food to be prepared, and side-walls at least partly surrounding the pan surface area, and a mounting connector for temporarily mounting the pan inside a food preparation chamber of an apparatus for preparing food. The pan bottom is provided with a plurality of through-holes as a hot air passage. The through-holes cover approximately 3 to 50% of the flat pan surface area and the heat capacity per area of a bottom surface of the pan bottom is between 10 and 75 JK.sup.?1 dm.sup.?2.
Splash guard system
A splash guard system includes a stove that has a burner. A pot is provided and the pot may contain a liquid. The pot is positioned on the burner such that the pot is in thermal communication with the burner. Thus, the stove heats the liquid. A shield is removably coupled to the pot. The shield inhibits the liquid from splashing onto the burner when the stove heats the liquid.
Countertop appliance having detachable base
A countertop appliance having a detachable base with rotatable handles for selectively engaging a pan or cooking surface of the appliance. The rotatable handles of the detachable base are rotatable between a locked position in which the pan is secured to the base preventing separation of the pan from the base and a disengaged position where the pan can be lifted off the base. The rotatable handles can also be rotated into a stored position in which the handles are positioned within the detachable base, whereby the detachable base can be placed within the pan to facilitate storage and reduce overall shipping volume.
Device, system and method for determining the temperature and orientation of a medium
A device, system and method for remotely determining the temperature and orientation of at least one medium is provided. The device may form a body adapted to penetrate a medium, wherein the body houses a thermal sensor, an accelerometer sensor, a gyroscopic sensor, each electronically connected to a wireless transmitter extending from the body. The plurality of sensors may be adapted to determine the continuous temperature, relative position and orientation of the penetrated medium, all relative to time, while the wireless transmitter is adapted to transmit the plurality such determinations to at least one remote device. The resulting system enables a user to remotely monitoring a level of doneness for a plurality of media in terms of their respective temperatures, orientations, and positioning relative to the time spent on or in at least one heating element.
