The filter pan is pivotable about an end of the pan within a frame for supporting cooking equipment. The load cell is attached on one end to the frame. The assembly also includes a lever pivotable about a fulcrum, such that the first end of the lever supports the other end of the oil filter pan, and the second end of the lever urges against the load cell.

An air inlet device of an air fryer, which has a heating chamber, includes an upper housing, and an upper cover disposed above and covering the upper housing. The upper cover and the upper housing cooperatively define a flow guide channel therebetween. The flow guide channel has an air inlet opening for entry of air into the air inlet device, and a chamber entry opening located inwardly of the air inlet opening for flowing of the air into the heating chamber. The flow guide channel has a curved shape from the air inlet opening to the chamber entry opening.

Pressure assist method for pressure fryer

Methods for adjusting the pressure in a cooking chamber of a pressure fryer are provided. The pressure inside the cooking chamber is determined in response to detecting closure of a valve that vents the cooking chamber. The pressure in the chamber is compared to a predetermined pressure. If the pressure in the chamber is less than the predetermined pressure, a pressure assist system is activated. The pressure assist system includes an air pump and/or pressure source, and when activated, supplies a gas to the cooking chamber to increase the pressure in the cooking chamber. The pressure may be determined at a predetermined time after closure of the valve, and an amount of gas to be added to the cooking chamber determined based on a difference between the measured pressure and the predetermined pressure.
