20200058185 · 2020-02-20 ·

A food frying and distribution device is used to pre-cook frozen food for storage and subsequent dispensing. The apparatus is configured to fry food to near completion, to store that food, and to then finish cooking upon consumer request, thereby reducing cooking time. The apparatus includes a housing, a frozen-foods inlet, a fried-foods outlet, at least one fryer basin, a first frying basket, a second frying basket, a first conveyor, a second conveyor, a vending mechanism, and a control unit. The housing is the protective shell that allows for arrangement of components. The frozen-foods inlet is an opening through which a user may insert frozen foods for preparation and storage within the apparatus. Conversely, the fried-foods outlet is an opening through which fried foods may be obtained by a consumer. The general configuration of the aforementioned components allows the apparatus to efficiently and effectively generate fried food relatively quickly.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEEP FRYING POULTRY WHILE AVOIDING SKIN DAMAGE
20200008451 · 2020-01-09 ·

A system and method for cooking a food item, such as poultry, includes heating cooking fluid in a cooking vessel to a temperature sufficient to cook poultry and placing the poultry on a substantially horizontal perforate plate, breast down, such that the poultry is at least partially immersed in the cooking fluid. The perforate plate prevents poultry skin from sticking to a support, such as a deep fry cooking basket. The immersed poultry is cooked for a selected cooking period and then removed, along with the perforate plate from the cooking fluid. The poultry is then removed from contact with the perforate plate.

Automated Mechanism for Producing a Baked or Fried Product, Including Methods of Production

Mechanisms and methods for producing a baked or fried cake product are disclosed herein that include: a mold, a product handle insertion mechanism, a dipping tray, wherein the dipping tray is designed to hold a plurality of the baked or fried cake products, a robotic tool, an open container of a liquid coating material, a robotic dipping tool, wherein the dipping tool is designed to place the full dipping tray into the container of the liquid coating material and then remove the full dipping tray from the container after the baked or fried cake product is coated, and a drying station.

INDUCTION FRYER

The present invention relates to an induction fryer and, more particularly, to an induction fryer comprising: a case having a space with an open upper part; a lid installed by means of a hinge at an upper part of the case so as to be opened and closed; a frying container, installed in the case, for containing oil so as to be able to fry frying ingredients; a frying basket having a space for holding the frying ingredients and having a fixing rod formed therein so as to be lifted up and down in the frying container; an induction heating unit installed on an outer circumferential surface of the frying container and having a coil and a magnet fixed to an assembly body so that electric energy is converted into thermal energy by electromagnetic induction and; and a control unit for electrically controlling the induction heating unit so that the frying ingredients can be fried by the electromagnetic induction phenomenon, wherein the coil is fixed only by fixing the magnet to the assembly body without using an adhesive for fixing the coil and the magnet. As such, the present invention has the effects of shortening manufacturing time, improving work convenience, and reducing labor costs.

Automated fryer with selectively activated heating elements

A fryer and method for cooking food products is provided that automates the movement of baskets carrying the food products. The fryer includes a cooking chamber with a heating element located therein for heating cooking medium in the cooking chamber. The fryer also includes at least one vertical transport assembly that selectively engages with and moves the basket vertically into and out of the cooking medium. A horizontal transport assembly selectively engages with and moves the basket horizontally between different positions. The horizontal transport assembly hands off the basket to and from the vertical transport assembly, and first and second hooks on the horizontal transport assembly engage with front and rear receiving mechanisms on the basket to continuously maintain at least two points of contact with the basket. This allows for controlled pivotal movements of the basket when food products are to be added or removed from the basket.

CONTROLLER OF AN INDUSTRIAL-ROBOTIC-AIR-FRYING SYSTEM (IRAFS)
