Beverage chiller employing array of heat exchange tubes
Disclosed is a beverage chiller having a bottom portion and a top portion. The bottom portion includes a perimeter wall defining a receiving vessel for receiving a beverage to be chilled. The top portion includes at least first and second cooling tubes. The bottom and top portions interfit such that the cooling tubes extend vertically down into the beverage and chill the beverage to a desired temperature by thermal contact with said cooling tubes when the top portion is positioned on the bottom portion. The first and second cooling tubes have first and second perimeters, respectively, within a horizontal cross-section of the top portion, and the first and second perimeters have substantially a same size and shape.
Hand-held portable air conditioner and beverage insulation system
A portable air-conditioner system utilizing a removable pre-cooled beverage container is provided. The portable air conditioner system utilizing a removable pre-cooled beverage container has a hollow cylindrical housing having an internal thermal material wherein the housing has an open top end for receiving, for example, a removable standard aluminum 12 ounce can, glass, plastic bottle or the like. The housing has an internal pathway system which transports cooled air produced from the removable pre-cooled beverage container out toward the user with the aid of a fan located at the bottom of the housing. In an embodiment, the internal pathway is preferably spiral, but may also be serpentine or another suitable design. An electronic charging docking station may recharge the fan.
Product heating with soluble container
A self-heating container includes a first substance and a second substance that are adapted to produce an exothermic reaction upon contact with each other, a soluble material between the first substance and the second substance, a frangible membrane physically separating the second substance from the soluble material, and a means for rupturing the frangible membrane.
PORTABLE COOLER CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An actively heated or cooled food container can have a lid movable between an open and a closed position and an insulated body to which the lid can be attached. The insulated body can have a sidewall that defines a perimeter of the container body and a base, the sidewall and base defining one or more chambers that can be sealed by the lid. The food container can have a temperature control system that can include one or more heating or cooling elements in thermal communication with one or both of the sidewall and the base and operable to heat or cool one or both of the sidewall and the base to thereby heat or cool the one or more chambers in the food container.
BEVERAGE INSULATING DEVICE
A beverage insulating device to cool a beverage in a bottle or can includes an outer container, a lid, and an inner container. The inner container may be filled with an insulator or refrigerant material to increase the thermal resistance across the inner container. The size and shape of the inner container may allow the inner container to surround at least a portion of the beverage while also fitting inside the outer container. The lid fits over the bottle or can and securely engages with the outer container to allow the beverage insulating device to simultaneously cool and insulate the beverage while also allowing consumption of the beverage.
PORTABLE DEVICE FOR QUICK CHILLING AND HEATING
The invention relates to a device for chilling and heating of fluids, particularly beverages and liquid foods. The heating or cooling device can include a container encasing an insulation system, a cover or lid for covering the container, and the insulation system. The insulation system can include a coil made of a temperature-conductive material and fashioned to connect to an inlet in the cover and to an outlet in the container. The cover can also include a fluid reservoir for accepting the liquid to be processed, and an open section providing a passageway for adding additional insulating material to the insulating system while the device is in use. Once the device is assembled, a liquid can be poured into the fluid reservoir, pass through the coil that carries the liquid through the insulating system, and exit the container as a chilled or heated liquid.
SOLAR POWERED COLD CUP
A solar powered cooler cup is presented. The cup holds a beverage and may be transportable. The cup has a handle and a lid which allow for transport without fear of leakage or spillage. The cup also has a energy plant, a cooling segment and a heating coil. An on/off switch allows the power to be turned off when the cup is not in use. A system switch is provided that allows the switching from the cooling system to the heating system or vice versa. Further there is a charging port which may preferably be a USB port. A solar panel is coupled to the outside of the cup and provides energy for the system used to keep the beverage at a desired temperature. The solar panel may also charge the battery where the energy is stored in the plant.
VOICE-COMMAND CONTROLLED HEATABLE CONTAINER
The present application is directed to an apparatus that includes an inner vessel, a vacuum insulator vessel disposed around and bonded to the inner vessel, a bottom cover affixed to the inner vessel and the vacuum insulator, the bottom cover including a control circuit with a voice recognition module, a transistor switch and one or more sensors. A heater strip is disposed around at least a portion of the bottom cover and is in contact with the inner vessel, a charging interface is configured to receive a power charge from an external source, a battery pack with a number of conduits is configured to provide a power supply to the control circuit and the heater strip and to receive the power charge from the charging interface, and the voice recognition module is configured to identify audio commands received and activate the power supply of the battery pack to the heater strip to increase a temperature of the inner vessel and contents of the inner vessel.
Drinkware with active temperature control
Drinkware with active temperature control can be a mug made of metal, and optionally coated with a ceramic material.
