Beverage server having integral air vent
A beverage server having a cap and a server body. The server body includes an open top container having a handle, a chamber, a pour spout, and a cap receiving portion defining a top opening. The cap is rotatably positionable within the top opening between an on-off configuration, a closed configuration, and a pour configuration. The cap has an outer facing portion and a lip, and the cap receiving portion has an inner facing portion adjacent to a top rim. Surfaces on the cap that would otherwise engage the rim and surfaces of the cap receiving portion, are cutaway to create recesses in such surfaces, which together with the top rim and surfaces of the cap receiving portion define an air vent which allows air to pass into the chamber when beverage is dispensed from the chamber via the spout when the cap is in the pour configuration.
COMBINATION APPLIANCE AND METHODS OF USE
Exemplary embodiments are directed to a combination appliance. The combination appliance includes a first appliance and a second appliance. The first appliance includes a front surface, a rear surface, side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces, and at least one heating chamber. The second appliance includes a front surface, a rear surface, side surfaces extending between the front and rear surfaces, a heating chamber, and a door at the front surface of the second appliance. The first appliance is vertically disposed over the second appliance with the front, rear and side surfaces of the first and second appliances substantially aligned. A width of the combination appliance defined by the front surface of the first and second appliances is dimensioned smaller than a depth of the combination appliance defined by the side surfaces of the first and second appliances.
INDUCTIVE HEATING VESSELS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
Disclosed herein are induction heating articles and vessels and methods for applying insulating coatings thereto. In one aspect, an induction heating vessel of the present invention includes a ferromagnetic substrate and an insulating coating layer attached to the substrate, the insulating coating layer being characterized by a thermal conductivity of less than about 1.0 W/mK and a Shore A hardness of less than about 70.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A beverage container may include a base having an axis, a closed bottom, an open top and an interior cavity therebetween. The base may be formed from a material that is opaque. In addition, a vessel is configured to contain a fluid. The vessel has an opening into or from which the fluid may flow relative to an interior of the vessel. The vessel is mounted in the interior cavity of the base and extends above and beyond the open top thereof. A radial air space is located between the vessel and the base relative to the axis. The vessel may be formed from a material that is at least one of translucent or transparent. In addition, a seal may be located between the base and the vessel. Each of the base, vessel and seal may be a different material.
Controlled positioning in food processor
A machine (1) for processing a liquid food substance includes: a jug (20) having a container (21) and delimiting a food cavity (21) for containing the liquid food substance; and a base (10) that has one or more walls (11) forming a seat (11) for removably receiving the container (21). The base (10) and the jug (20) comprise or delimit, respectively, an off-centred projecting member (33) and a corresponding off-centred seat (13) for the projecting member (33) or vice versa. The off-centred seat (13) is configured to receive the projecting member (33) when the container (21) is received by the base seat (11) such that the container (21) is in place for processing the liquid food substance. The off-centred projecting member (33) is configured to maintain the container (21) off its place for processing the liquid food substance in the cavity (21) when the projecting member (33) is off-set relative to the off-centred seat (13).
Handling of food processor
A machine for processing a liquid food substance includes a jug that has a container and a handle for holding the jug by an adult human hand. The container delimits a food cavity for containing the food substance. The handle has a connection member projecting from the container and a substantially elongated upright gripping member that is connected to the connection member at a distance from the container. The gripping member has an upper portion that is above the connection member and a lower portion that is below the connection member. The upper portion is configured to support a thumb of the hand and delimits with the connection member an upper seat for accommodating an index finger of the hand.
ADAPTER FOR A COOLER ASSEMBLY
An adapter for a cooler assembly is provided that is configured to extend the capacity of a cooler assembly. The adapter includes a hollow cylinder with an outer wall, an inner wall, a top edge, and bottom edge. The hollow cylinder has a first section that is threaded on the outer wall to receive a collar of the cooler assembly. The hollow cylinder has a second section that is threaded on the inner wall to receive a body of the cooler assembly. In some arrangements of the invention, a shoulder on the outer wall is positioned between the first section and the second section. On the inner wall, a slanted section is positioned between the first section and the second section.
Drinking Vessel For Containing a Liquid and Insulating a Bottle or Can
The present disclosure may be embodied as a drinking vessel having an insulating body. The insulating body includes a cavity for containing a liquid. The cavity has a bottom and a cylindrical side wall. A top portion of the cylindrical side wall is internally threaded. The insulating body further includes a base with a storage mount. The storage mount is internally threaded. A lid having a drinking orifice is provided. The lid is externally threaded. The lid is configured to couple with the threads of the cavity or the threads of the storage mount such that the lid may be selectively coupled. The drinking vessel may further include a clamping ring. The clamping ring is externally threaded to couple with the cavity or the storage mount. The clamping ring is configured to cooperate with the cavity to secure a can or bottle within the cavity.
Beverage container temperature sleeve
The present invention is a sleeve that is place or wrapped around a beverage container. The sleeve is designed to either heat the beverage container to keep or change the temperature of the liquid within the beverage container. It can also be used to keep a users hand warm while drinking a cool beverage.
