Thermally activatable insulating packaging
A package or container includes a side wall, the side wall having an inner surface and an outer surface. At least one of the inner surface or the outer surface of the side wall may be at least partially coated by a layer of a thermally expandable material. The material may be adapted to be expanded to provide thermal insulation.
MULTI-PURPOSE DOUBLE LAYERED CONTAINER
Some embodiments provide a multi-purpose cooking and heating container. The container can be used with a variety of different cooking appliances, including a microwave oven, induction cooker, electric stove, etc. The multi-purpose container is double layered in that it has inner and outer shells. The inner shell is disposed adjacent the outer shell, and the outer edges of the shells are then hermetically sealed to form an inner space between the two shells. To transfer heat to the inner space in different cooking environment, the container's outer surface of the outer shell is coated with an exothermic enamel glaze or a exothermic ceramic coat.
Containers and Lids and Methods of Forming Containers and Lids
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element.
Container and Method of Forming a Container
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The second outer wall can include a second end configured to support the container on a surface. The second outer wall can include a dimple, and the dimple can include a circular base and an inner portion converging to an hole extending into the second outer wall. The hole can be sealed by a resin, and the circular base can be covered by disc formed of the material. Alternatively, a cap can cover the dimple, and a weld can connect the cap to the second outer wall. The container can also include a sealed vacuum cavity forming an insulated double-wall structure between the first inner wall and the second outer wall.
CONTAINER AND HANDLE AND METHOD OF FORMING A CONTAINER AND HANDLE
Containers can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The second outer wall can include a second end configured to support the container on a surface. The containers can include a removably engaged handle.
Smart water bottle
Resealable bottles for beverages. A bottle may include a main body with an opening for receiving contents and a reservoir for storing contents, a lid, and a bottom, which is interchangeable with an accessory for changing a characteristic of the contents. The lid may close the bottle and/or facilitate consumption of its contents. The bottle may support one or more indicators, such as LEDs, including a safety indicator that is configured to activate when the safety system is active and the resealable bottle enters an unsafe state. The accessory may provide, for example, heating and/or cooling.
Container and method of forming a container
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a canister having a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a spout adapter, the spout adapter having a spout channel extending between the internal reservoir and a spout opening, smaller than the opening of the canister. The spout opening may be sealed with a cap having a magnetic top surface, and the spout adapter may be further removably coupled to a lid that may be used as a cup into which a volume of the liquid can be poured.
Thermal container
The present invention relates to a portable thermal container (1) for consumer products (2) comprising at least a storing chamber (2) of the consumer products (2) and at least a reaction chamber (4) of a reagent component (5) and a of a reactive component (5), wherein the reaction chamber (4) extends substantially entirely along the dimension of the largest dimension of the portable thermal container (1) and the storing chamber (2) is arranged side-by-side to the reaction chamber (4) to maximize the thermal exchange between the reaction chamber (4) and the storing chamber (2) in an homogeneous way, and the reaction chamber (4) comprises at least a storing portion and at least an expansion portion, wherein the total volume of said expansion portions is greater than the total volume of said storing portions to allow the safe expansion of the chemical reaction gases in said reaction chamber (4).
FOOD HEATING DEVICE AND PORTABLE FOOD HOLDING APPARATUS
a food heating device and portable food holding apparatus are provided, the food holding device includes a base, a food heating device and a receiving container, the base includes a first area and a second area adjacent to the first area, the food heating device is detachably received in the first area of the base and configured for heating a first type of food received in the food heating device to convert the first type of food from a solid state to a molten state, and the receiving container is received in the second area and configured to receive second types of food but not heat the second types of food, wherein the receiving container is rotatably attached to the base and further rotatable with respect to the base and the food heating device.
Single layer scattering of powder surfaces
Methods and equipment to apply a decorative surface on a building panel wherein the surface includes a mix of fibres, binders, wear resistant particles and pigments. Layers may be applied as separate layers with equipment that applies essentially only one of the materials in the surface mix. A method of forming a surface layer on a substrate, the method including forming a first layer of a first material, applying a second layer of a second material on the first layer, mixing the first and second layers into a mix comprising the first and the second material, and applying the mix on a substrate for forming a surface layer.
