DEVICE FOR GRINDING COFFEE BEANS AND RELATIVE CONTROL METHOD
The grinding device for grinding coffee beans comprises an interface for the user for selecting the quantity of ground coffee in a range of values of selectable quantities of ground coffee, an electric motor supplied by mains electricity voltage for driving the grinders, means for measuring the mains electricity voltage and an electronic controller configured to: associate, for each value of a selectable quantity of ground coffee, a series of grinding time values with a series of corresponding values of the mains electricity voltage; acquire a value of a quantity of ground coffee selected by the user via the interface; detect by the measuring means a value of the mains electricity voltage; for the acquired value of a quantity of ground coffee selected by the user, set the grinding time value corresponding to the detected mainly electricity voltage value; and drive the grinders for the set grinding time value.

Coffee grinding machine
A coffee grinding machine including a first burr and a second burr. At least one of the first burr and the second burr is rotatable about an axis of rotation, the burrs being mutually cooperating to grind coffee. The machine includes a motor which rotates at least one of the burrs with respect to the other, wherein the axis of rotation of the motor does not coincide with the axis of rotation of the burrs so that the coffee which is ground by the grinders is directed to an output of a conveyor cone for use thereof.

Variable speed coffee grinder
The present invention is an improved method to grind coffee where grinding speed can be adjusted either on demand or according to a programmed profile. By lowering the rotational speed of the grinding burrs, the user can insure more consistent particle size for types of coffee or methods of brewing where it is desirable, or dramatically increase speed for greater productivity. By incorporating a load cell, the grinder is able to identify coffee brewing device and deliver portioned ground coffee according to program settings or user input. The device also features an improved hopper design to reduce waste and ease whole bean removal. More importantly is a new method to calibrate the distance between the grinder mills and to automatically adjust grinder particle size so that a given numerical value is consistent for each grinder and every user.

Grinder, coffee machine and method for grinding coffee beans
The invention relates to a grinder for grinding coffee beans. The grinder has a first grinding tool and a second grinding tool which form a grinding gap and are rotatable relative to each other to grind coffee beans in the gap. A force generation device is arranged for applying a force, which is adjustable during operation, to one or both of the first grinding tool and second grinding tool, which force is transferrable to the coffee beans. The invention also relates to a method for grinding coffee beans with the grinder for preparing a hot beverage.
