DEVICES FOR RESETTING POSITIONS OF GRINDING WHEELS IN GRINDERS
A device for resetting the position of the grinding wheels in a grinder for beans of plant-based products, whose powder, resulting from grinding, is adapted for use in the preparation of a beverage, particularly coffee.
The grinder comprises a grinding chamber, a pair of grinding wheels housed in said grinding chamber, a grinding wheel being connected to the shaft of a motor, whose axis defines the axial direction (Z-Z) of the grinding wheels, to be rotated, the other grinding wheel, opposite thereto, being stationary against rotation and susceptible of being axially moved in both ways along said axial direction (Z-Z).
The device includes a mechanism for imparting said axial movements to the stationary grinding wheel, an electric motor for actuating said mechanism, a current intensity meter for measuring the current intensity absorbed by the electric motor and a switch for cutting off power to said electric motor upon detection of a value of the current intensity absorbed by said motor representative of zero distance state between the stationary grinding wheel and the rotating grinding wheel, opposite thereto.
Grinder, coffee machine and method for grinding coffee beans
The invention relates to a grinder for grinding coffee beans. The grinder has a first grinding tool and a second grinding tool which form a grinding gap and are rotatable relative to each other to grind coffee beans in the gap. A force generation device is arranged for applying a force, which is adjustable during operation, to one or both of the first grinding tool and second grinding tool, which force is transferrable to the coffee beans. The invention also relates to a method for grinding coffee beans with the grinder for preparing a hot beverage.

SPICE MILL
A spice mill includes a main body with an internal cavity and a cap removably coupled to the main body to selectively provide access to the internal cavity. A drive shaft extends at least partially through the main body, with the cap transferring rotational motion to the drive shaft. A first grind stone is coupled to the main body and a second grind stone is coupled to the drive shaft. An adjuster assembly is at least partially received in the second grind stone to vary a size of a gap between the first and second grind stones. The second grind stone rotates relative to the first grind stone to grind a material received from the main body and output the ground material through the gap on sides of the spice mill.
COFFEE GRINDER
A grinder appliance includes a body having a housing portion. A grinding assembly is positioned within the housing portion where the grinding assembly is configured to grind whole beans into ground beans. A chute extends between the grinding assembly and a discharge aperture. An ion generator extends through the chute and into a channel defined by the chute. The ion generator includes an attachment feature configured to be coupled to at least one of the body and the chute. At least one pin extends from an end of the attachment feature and into the channel. A power source is coupled to the at least one pin to generate an ion field within the channel to reduce a charge on the ground beans traveling through the chute.
