PORTABLE HERB/SPICE GRINDER
A grinder includes a first tube having a first open end and a first floor with an annular recess at a perimeter thereof. First blades are coupled to the first floor and a first ring is disposed in the annular recess. A second tube has a second open end and a second floor. The second tube is configured for partial axial insertion in the first tube. Second blades are coupled to the second floor. When the second tube is inserted into the first tube, portions of the first blades are in a non-contact meshed engagement with portions of the second blades that supports relative rotation between the first and second tubes. A second ring disposed about the second tube is axially spaced from the first ring when the second tube is inserted into the first tube. The first and second rings comprise materials that are magnetically attracted to one another.

MANUAL COFFEE GRINDER
A grinder includes a hopper having a top and a bottom and a shaft disposed within the hopper and configured to rotate about a shaft longitudinal axis with respect to the hopper. The shaft includes both a first end nearer to a top of the hopper as compared to a bottom of the hopper and a second end nearer to the bottom of the hopper as compared to the top of the hopper. A blade extends a radial distance outward from the shaft a smaller radial distance at a location on the shaft nearer to the first end of the shaft as compared to a second location on the shaft nearer to the second end.

Herb Grinder and with Ground Herb Storage
A novel herb grinder is disclosed having a top portion comprising a first plurality of teeth protruding axially from a bottom surface of the top portion and an upper chamber for receiving the protruding first plurality of teeth, the upper chamber rotatably coupled to the top portion, the upper chamber for forming a first cavity into which an herbal material for grinding may be placed. The upper chamber comprising a second plurality of teeth protruding from a lower surface of the first cavity, extending axially towards the first plurality of teeth of the top portion. A central axis common to the top portion and the upper chamber about which the first plurality of teeth are for rotating with respect to the second plurality of teeth in a reciprocating motion for shredding the herb material for grinding wherein some of the first plurality of teeth and some of the second plurality of teeth comprise five sides with cutting edges formed at the sides of the teeth wherein the first plurality of teeth and the second plurality of teeth are interdigitated when the top portion is coupled with the upper chamber.
HERB GRINDER
This invention concerns a herb grinder, comprising two cutting half-chambers with complementary curved inner forms configured to be coupled to each other, each curved inner form having a curved inner surface and a plurality of protrusions on the curved inner surface, forming a cutting area, each protrusion extending continuously along the radial direction and having a length equivalent to at least a part of the radius length, the protrusions in cutting areas of the two complementary curved inner surfaces being aligned to push and to cut the herb, when the two half-chambers are coupled to realize a relative movement to each other.
Grinding Apparatus
The present disclosure describes a grinding apparatus preferably comprised of upper, central and lower bodies that are magnetically connected to one another. The central body is further comprised of cutting edges positioned on a center portion to cut and evacuate herbs. The upper body is comprised of outer grinding teeth that can cut and grind herbs trapped proximate an outer rim of the central body. Inner grinding teeth positioned on the upper body and having curved inner faces abut against a correspondingly cylindrical member of the central body to limit the radial play between the upper and central bodies during operation. A teeth or gear system is also disclosed to provide torque transfer and facilitate the connection between the central and lower bodies.

HERB GRINDER SYSTEM
An improved herb grinder system is described. Some implementations can include an herb grinder designed to keep ground material from drying out by providing moisture to an interior area of the grinder, where the moisture is delivered via packets or other suitable devices to keep the ground material in a moist environment. In some implementations, the grinder is modular to permit various aspects or configurations to be modified and adjusted for optimal performance of ground material storage. The herb grinder system can provide storage times that can vary from a few hours to days or longer by maintaining or increasing moisture levels to help preserve the quality of ground material.
SINGLE MOLDED DEVICE FOR SHREDDING AND STORING HERBS
A novel device for preparing fresh herbs and corresponding method are disclosed. The device includes a cap, a body for receiving the cap, and a hinge coupling the cap to the body. The cap, body, and hinge are each preferably comprised of plastic and manufactured such that the cap, body, and hinge are of one-piece construction. The cap includes an interior having shredding means. The body includes a chamber having shredding means. Fresh herbs may be placed within the chamber to be shredded after the cap is separated from the body. The hinge is preferably configured to be broken to permit the cap to be separated from the body. The device may also include a latch mechanism for hinging the cap back onto the body and for keeping the cap held onto the body once the device is no longer in use.
