Electronic grinder
A electronic grinder includes a base and a cup, the cup defining a pulverization chamber. A drive shaft connected to an electric motor terminates inside the pulverization chamber at a blade group. The blade group is magnetically removable from the end of the drive shaft for easy cleaning and replacement. The end of the cup opposite from the base in includes a fixed ring and a moveable cap that rotates or swivels about a pin connecting the two components for easy access to the contents of the pulverization chamber. The electric motor is controlled by a microcontroller operable by a power button and a control button. An inductive switch configured as a triggering member is disposed between the base and cup to detect whether the two components are connected in order to prevent inadvertent use of the grinder.
Commercial Granular Material Dispensing Apparatus, Method, and System
A device, system, and method are provided for grinding, dispensing, and packaging a granular material into a receptacle to be obtained by a user. The device can include: a user interface; a canister comprising a dispensing mechanism and a grinder; a packaging system configured to physically manipulate and position a receptacle within the device, thereby eliminating the need for manual handling by the user; a receptacle-storage configured to house a plurality of receptacles and from which the packaging system can obtain a receptacle; a capping station configured to apply a covering onto a filled receptacle to prevent spillage and waste; an inventory database to store inventory information; a communication system to facilitate internet connectivity; and a recommendation system to recommend various recipes to the user. The description also discloses a system of interconnected kiosks for automatically grinding, dispensing, and packaging granular materials.
DEVICES FOR RESETTING POSITIONS OF GRINDING WHEELS IN GRINDERS
A device for resetting the position of the grinding wheels in a grinder for beans of plant-based products, whose powder, resulting from grinding, is adapted for use in the preparation of a beverage, particularly coffee.
The grinder comprises a grinding chamber, a pair of grinding wheels housed in said grinding chamber, a grinding wheel being connected to the shaft of a motor, whose axis defines the axial direction (Z-Z) of the grinding wheels, to be rotated, the other grinding wheel, opposite thereto, being stationary against rotation and susceptible of being axially moved in both ways along said axial direction (Z-Z).
The device includes a mechanism for imparting said axial movements to the stationary grinding wheel, an electric motor for actuating said mechanism, a current intensity meter for measuring the current intensity absorbed by the electric motor and a switch for cutting off power to said electric motor upon detection of a value of the current intensity absorbed by said motor representative of zero distance state between the stationary grinding wheel and the rotating grinding wheel, opposite thereto.
