Grinding device and coffee machine equipped therewith
Disclosed are a grinding device and a coffee machine equipped therewith. The grinding device includes: a grinding housing, provided with a discharge port on a side thereof; first and second grinding elements, coaxially disposed in the grinding housing, and forming a grinding gap, wherein the second grinding element rotates relative to the first grinding element to grind raw material in the grinding gap; a pushing wheel for pushing ground raw material from the grinding gap to the discharging port; a drive assembly, connected to the pushing wheel The pushing wheel includes a torque connection portion, the grinding housing is provided with a through hole for it to pass through, the torque connection portion is radially supported on the grinding housing by a fixed support member, a rolling support member is provided between the pushing wheel and the grinding housing and provides at least axial support for the pushing wheel.
INTERCHANGEABLE CARTRIDGE DEVICES WITH PROTECTIVE BLADE MEMBER FOR GRATING INGESTIBLE SUBSTANCES
Interchangeable cartridge devices, driven by an external actuator, for use in grating an ingestible substance. The devices may include an assembly with an cavity defining structure and a grating blade coupled to the assembly. A plunger moves within this cavity and is biased towards the grating blade. The plunger is configured to push a substance to be grated into and through the grating blade. Various embodiments are disclosed featuring narrow and wider cavities, different driving structures, a plunger with a plurality of independently biased sections, and releasable components for repair, cleaning and replacement, among other features.
Coffee grinder with selectable grinding parameters
A grinding device includes: a housing that includes a sidewall; a grinding bowl within the housing; a cover that mates with one of the housing and the grinding bowl, wherein the cover together with the grinding bowl defines a grinding chamber; a blade positioned within the grinding chamber; a motor, positioned within the housing, operatively connected with and configured to rotate the blade; and a dial generally radially aligned with the sidewall of the housing, wherein the dial is configured to control at least one operational parameter of the motor; and wherein the dial rotates around a substantially vertical axis.

Device and method for grinding herbs and tobacco
A grinder is provided that generally comprises a rotor that is at least partially disposed within a housing. Materials such as tobacco, herb, spices, or food is loaded into the housing, and a user turns the rotor relative to the housing to drive protrusions such as blades extending from a shaft of the rotor into the tobacco, herb, spices, or food. This grinds the contents into smaller pieces. A funnel portion at a lower end of the grinder can dispense the smaller, ground pieces for subsequent use. Some embodiments of the grinder include a rotatable sleeve to selectively open and close access to the housing of the grinder. Various embodiments of the grinder include a divider and an auger to allow only sufficiently ground pieces of contents to be dispensed from the grinder.
