Multi-function tongs are presented including: a pair of arms mechanically hinged along a proximal end; a pair of rotatable paddles each rotatably coupled with each of the pair of arms along a distal end; a pair of rotatable gears each rotatably coupled with each of the pair of rotatable paddles and with each of the pair of arms, where the pair of rotatable gears mesh when the multi-function tongs are in the closed position; and a pair of levers mechanically coupled with each of the pair of rotatable gears, the pair of levers extending outwardly from each of the pair of arms. In some embodiments, multi-function tongs further include: a tongs lock disposed along the proximal end to lock the multi-function tongs in a closed position.

A utensil and method for transferring food, wherein the utensil comprises a bifurcated handle forming two operational halves and a split bowl design at its distal end, capable of articulating between an open and closed position to secure food. The utensil may include a tong-like mechanism for maintaining the closed position, with materials selected for environmental sustainability.

An outdoor cooking device for preparing food over an open fire. More specifically, the device includes a cooking chamber having a pair of elongated arms, and a pair of removable handles with light sources disposed therein to provide additional light focused in the direction of the cooking chamber. Additionally, the light sources disposed in the removable handles allow the handles to convert into flashlights when detached form the elongated arms.
