COMPOSITE COOKWARE HANDLE
A cookware handle includes a plastic grip portion molded over a portion of an insert. The insert inserts into a bore of a flange. The grip portion is externally flush with the flange interface and the insert internally connects the grip portion to the flange. This allows the grip portion to be over molded on a first part of the insert so the other portion can be welded or otherwise attached to the flange after external surface finishing of the flange. The insert and flange may be welded together along a portion of the insert that contacts the flange within the bore and that is not visible when the flange is attached to a cookware vessel sidewall to provide the grip molded as a handle for the cookware vessel.

Mixing bowl assembly
A mixing bowl assembly includes a bowl that has handles extending outwardly from the bowl. A lid is selectively coupled to the bowl. The lid includes an outer circumferential frame and grasping portions that extend outwardly from the outer circumferential frame. A planar wooden trivet is selectively coupled with the lid, wherein the planar wooden trivet defines at least a servicing position of the lid. A glass dome is selectively coupled to the planar wooden trivet and includes a handgrip that is selectively disposed within the bowl.
Blender and blender container
A blender includes a main body provided with a motor assembly; a container detachably mountable to the main body and of which an upper surface is opened; a handle having an upper end which is connected to the container and a lower end which is spaced apart from the container, where the handle includes a handle body formed integrally with the container and protruding laterally from an upper end of the container and extending downward from the container.
Balsa wood cookware apparatus
A cookware device includes balsa wood having a sufficiently high specific heat to allow a user to grasp the cookware device with one or more bare hands immediately after exposure to heat. The balsa wood may form part of the cookware device or may be located on a handle attached to the cookware device for a user to grasp. The balsa wood material includes a specific heat of greater than about 3.5 J/g*K, a density of less than about seven pounds per cubic foot, and/or a grain angle between about 30 degrees and about 60 degrees in some embodiments. The cookware device or cookware device handle may also cool quickly when removed from a heat source in some embodiments.
Appliance for processing foods
An appliance for processing food including a vessel with walls that defines chamber in which foods to be processed are received, and a working part arranged in the chamber, which can be driven to process the foods, wherein the chamber defined by the walls has a form which is substantially a spherical segment at least in part, wherein the spherical segment form surrounds the working part.
MIXING BOWL ASSEMBLY
A mixing bowl assembly includes a bowl. A lid is removably coupled to the bowl and includes an outer circumferential frame and an inner circumferential lip. The lid defines a depressed support surface. A planar wooden trivet has a perimeter rim configured to engage the depressed support surface of the lid. A dome is removably coupled to the perimeter rim of the planar wooden trivet proximate the outer circumferential frame of the lid.
SKILLET
A cast iron skillet comprises a pan portion having a generally planar base portion and an upwardly extending and outwardly tapered wall portion integrally formed with the base portion. A handle has a base portion attached to an outer surface of the wall portion, an upwardly extending portion extending at an upward obtuse angle relative to a top edge of the wall portion, and a grasping portion depending from the upwardly extending portion and away from the pan portion, the grasping portion extending in a plane that is substantially parallel to the top edge of the wall portion.
DRAINAGE DEVICE
A drainage device for separating fluids from solid material and evacuating the fluids so that the fluid and resulting steam is impeded from reentering the device and contaminating the solid material still remaining therein is provided. The drainage device provides an inner perforated wall defining an item cavity allows for storing the solid material, while draining the fluid therefrom. A outer solid wall connected to the inner perforated wall enables continued and directed drainage of the evacuating fluid through providing a channeling void between the outer and inner walls that fluidly communicates with a discharge opening. The discharge opening is circumscribed by a supporting neck extending from a support base, while the solidity of the outer wall provides a physical barrier against germ-carrying splashback contaminating the perforated inner wall.
