A handle for a container, the container including a peripheral wall that defines an internal area. The handle includes a mount having a locking recess and a body including a pivot arm and a locking arm. The pivot arm is pivotally connected to the mount. When positioned in an operating position, the locking arm is biased toward the locking recess so as to secure the locking arm in place relative to the mount. The invention relates to a removable handle intended to cooperate with a cooking container having a side wall that is extended upwards by a outwardly-curved portion comprising a free end, said removable handle extending in a longitudinal direction and comprising an internal support member and an external support member intended to come against, respectively, an interior surface and an exterior surface of the side wall, said removable handle comprising a plastic gripping body that extends in the longitudinal direction and which comprises a front end provided with the external support member.

According to the invention, the gripping body comprises a metal reinforcement attached to the front end and provided with a tab that extends at the support member, the metal reinforcement and the tab being dimensioned to guarantee the geometry of the removable handle assembly cooking container in the event of thermal degradation of the plastic material of the front end of the gripping body.

According to one example, a cookware vessel includes a bracket coupled to an exterior of a vessel, and a detachable handle. The handle includes a grip portion, a coupling fixedly attached to the grip portion, an actuator rotatingly coupled to the handle, and a spring. The coupling has a channel that is configured to surround at least a portion of an upper horizontally extending rod of the bracket. The actuator has a top portion configured to engage and disengage an upper edge of the bracket when the actuator is rotated forward and backward. The actuator also has hooks configured to engage and disengage a lower horizontally extending rod of the bracket when the actuator is rotated forward and backward. The spring is configured to apply a force to the actuator so as to rotate the actuator forward, when the actuator is released by a user.

This application relates to a container having an attachable/detachable handle. In one aspect, the container includes a fastening member having one side coupled to a container and having a fastening portion formed at the other side thereof that is opposite to the one side. The container may also include a detachable block member having a stopper member detachably coupled to the fastening portion of the fastening member.
