It is preferable that one end and the other end of the thin-walled portion are set from a region in a pipe selected with a shorter length between a length of 1.0 m in the pipe axial direction and 90% of a length in the pipe axial direction where the thin-walled portion turns once in the pipe circumferential direction.

A high temperature iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) alloy tube extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the tube is formed from a continuous strip of a high temperature FeCrAl alloy and comprises a helical welded seam. Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a ferritic alloy having excellent ability to withstand nuclear power plant accidents and a method of manufacturing a nuclear fuel cladding tube using the same. The alloy includes iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), and nickel (Ni). The nickel (Ni) may be included 0.5 to 10 wt % based on a total amount of the alloy. The chromium may be included 13 to 18 wt % based on the total amount of the alloy. The aluminum may be included 5 to 7 wt % based on the total amount of the alloy.

The production method of a seamless steel pipe includes a heating step of heating an Nb-containing steel material to 800 to 1030° C., a pipe-making step of producing a hollow shell by performing piercing-rolling or elongation-rolling on the Nb-containing steel material, by using a piercing mill including a plurality of skewed rolls, a plug disposed between the plurality of skewed rolls, and a mandrel bar, and a cooling step immediately after rolling, of carrying out cooling using a cooling liquid on a hollow shell portion that passes between rear ends of the plurality of skewed rolls, in the hollow shell, so as to reduce an outer surface temperature of the hollow shell portion to 700 to 1000° C. within 15.0 seconds after the hollow shell portion passes between the rear ends of the plurality of skewed rolls.

The yield strength is in a range of 655 to 1172 MPa.

The invention concerns a method for production of a steel tubular product (1), in particular an airbag tubular product, with the following steps: a) provision of a steel tube (2), b) shaping of the steel tube (2) into a pre-geometry (3), wherein in an end region (4), an outer diameter (5) of the steel tube (2) is reduced by axial movement into an outer tool, c) calibration of an inner diameter (7) of the pre-geometry (3), wherein the pre-geometry (3) is still laid in the outer tool, and an inner mandrel, with an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter (7) of the calibrated pre-geometry (3), is introduced into the end region (4) of the pre-geometry (3), and the pre-geometry (3) is pressed against the outer tool such that the inner diameter (7) of the pre-geometry (3) is calibrated by shaping, d) removal of the pre-geometry (3) from the outer tool (5) and removal of the inner mandrel from the pre-geometry (3), e) axial movement of the pre-geometry (3) into a drawing tool with a roll-in contour having a pot-like concavity, with simultaneous shaping of the pre-geometry (3) into the tubular product (1) with a rotationally symmetrical outlet opening (8) positioned centrally in the end face, f) removal of the tubular product (1) from the drawing tool.
STEEL MATERIAL SUITABLE FOR USE IN SOUR ENVIRONMENT
The steel material according to the present disclosure has a chemical composition consisting of, in mass %, C: more than 0.20 to 0.35%, Si: 0.05 to 1.00%, Mn: 0.02 to 1.00%, P: 0.025% or less, S: 0.0100% or less, Al: 0.005 to 0.100%, Cr: 0.40 to 1.50%, Mo: 0.30 to 1.50%, Ti: 0.002 to 0.050%, B: 0.0001 to 0.0050%, N: 0.0100% or less and O: 0.0100% or less, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and satisfies Formula (1) and Formula (2) described in the description. The yield strength is 862 MPa or more. A numerical proportion of precipitates having an equivalent circular diameter within a range of 20 to 300 nm among precipitates having an equivalent circular diameter of 20 nm or more in the steel material is 0.85 or more.
