HEATING METHOD, HEATING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PRESS-MOLDED ARTICLE
A heating method, a heating apparatus, and a method of manufacturing a press-molded article using the heating method are provided. A pair of electrodes is arranged on a workpiece along a first direction. Each electrode has a length extending across a first heating area of a workpiece in the first direction. At least one of the electrodes is moved in the first heating area and along a second direction intersecting the first direction at a constant speed while applying electric current between the pair of electrodes to heat the first heating area by direct resistance heating. The electric current applied between the pair of electrodes is adjusted such that a heating temperature is adjusted for each segment into which the first heating area is divided so as to be side by side in the second direction.
TRANSVERSE FLUX INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE
The transverse flux induction heating device allows an alternating magnetic field to intersect the sheet face of a conductive sheet which is conveyed in one direction, thereby inductively heating the conductive sheet. The transverse flux induction heating device includes a heating coil disposed such that a coil face faces the sheet face of the conductive sheet; a core around which the heating coil is coiled; and a shielding plate formed of a conductor and disposed between the core and a side end portion in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the conductive sheet, wherein the shielding plate has a protruded portion, and the side surface of the protruded portion represents a closed loop when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the coil face.

The transverse flux induction heating device allows an alternating magnetic field to intersect the sheet face of a conductive sheet which is conveyed in one direction, thereby inductively heating the conductive sheet. A quenching apparatus that is configured to cool a metal sheet, the quenching apparatus including: a cooling device that is configured to perform quenching by cooling the metal sheet with a cooling fluid; a plurality of shape correction rolls that includes at least a front shape correction roll and a back shape correction roll that are configured to be respectively provided at a front surface and a back surface of the metal sheet and press, in a thickness direction of the metal sheet, the metal sheet before being quenched; and a pressing processor that is configured to set, based on a shape of the metal sheet before quenching, a pressing quantity of each shape correction roll of the plurality of shape correction rolls.

A hearth roll for a continuous annealing furnace, the hearth roll comprising a thermal spray coating on a surface of the hearth roll, wherein the thermal spray coating comprises main components consisting of a Co-based alloy, a carbide of a transition metal, and a double oxide; and impurities, the double oxide consists of one or two types of a first double oxide consisting of Al and a rare earth element and a second double oxide consisting of a transition metal and a rare earth element, and when the main components are 100 mass %, a content of the Co-based alloy is 25 mass % or more and 50 mass % or less, a content of the carbide is 5 mass % or more and 30 mass % or less, and a content of the double oxide is 20 mass % or more and 45 mass % or less.

Heat treatment apparatus
According to the present disclosure, a heat treatment apparatus includes a heating treatment unit that heat-treats a strip-shaped sheet while transferring the strip-shaped sheet, and a cooling unit that cools the strip-shaped sheet having been heat-treated in the heating treatment unit while transferring the strip-shaped sheet. The cooling unit includes a cooling roller that allows a refrigerant to flow through the inside thereof, and an outer wall that surrounds the space in which the cooling roller is disposed. The heat treatment apparatus may further include a take-up unit in which the strip-shaped sheet having been cooled in the cooling unit is wound.
