ARTICLE PROCESSING FIXTURE
A fixture for supporting articles in an industrial process includes a plurality of elongate members having a plurality of first elongate members, a plurality of second elongate members, and a plurality of third elongate members. Each of the plurality of first elongate members includes a rod member having a riveted portion at an end thereof. The rod member of one of the plurality of first elongate members extends through an aperture of one of the plurality of second elongate members and an aperture of one of the plurality of third elongate members and is movably coupled thereto by the riveted portion of the rod member.
Holder for drill-head coating
The present invention relates to a holder for a number of drills, which can advantageously be used for coating drill tips. The holders according to the invention make it possible to arrange the drills in the coating unit in such a way that their tips rest on a cylindrical wall and these can be rotated past a coating source at the same minimum distance. The holder comprises a first curved wall with holes, a second curved wall with holes or slits and a third wall which serves as stop for drills inserted in the holes of the first and second wall.
Article processing fixture
A fixture for supporting articles in an industrial process comprises a plurality of first elongate members extending longitudinally in a first direction. The plurality of first elongate members each comprise a rod member having a riveted portion at an end thereof. The fixture further comprises a plurality of second elongate members extending longitudinally in a second direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction and a plurality of third elongate members extending longitudinally in a third direction that is substantially perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. The rod member of one of the first elongate members extends through an aperture of one of the second elongate members and an aperture of one of the third elongate members and is movably coupled thereto by its riveted portion.
Shield for heat treating a plate workpiece
A method of tempering a plate workpiece entails first fitting the plate workpiece with a shield between first and second shield parts each having a respective mask element so as to cover only an edge region of the workpiece while leaving a more central region of the workpiece exposed. The shield and workpiece are then put in an oven with the plate workpiece fitted between the first and second shield parts. The shield also comprises first and second seals on the first and second parts confronting each other and each displaceable on the respective part between a closely juxtaposed working position in which inner portions of the seals are spaced apart by a distance equal generally to a thickness of the plate workpiece and outer portions of the seal bear on each other and a starting position spaced more widely from and out of engagement with each other. The seals engage and clamp the workpiece in the working position.
SUPPORT FIXTURE FOR HEAT TREATING SHEETS HAVING COMPLEX SHAPES
A fixture is provided for holding sheets having complex shapes during heat treating. The fixture includes a base having a central opening and defining a peripheral foundation. A support structure extends inwardly and upwardly from the base and across the central opening. The support structure includes first axial and traverse openings extending there through. A sheet engagement structure is secured to the support structure and includes second axial openings extending there through. The sheet engagement structure has a peripheral section and at least one connecting leg extending between portions of the peripheral section. A sheet securing ring is removably secured to the sheet engagement structure for slidingly securing a sheet between the sheet securing ring and the sheet engagement structure. The central opening, first axial and traverse openings and second axial openings cooperating to create a uniform and accelerated flow of fluid through the fixture.
Batch annealing furnace for coils
A batch annealing furnace includes a coil support base on which an end face of a coil is mounted and that supports the coil with an axis of the coil being upright, an inner cover that covers an entire body of the coil mounted on the coil support base, and a cooling pipe that extends downward from the upper part of the inner cover to a cavity of the inner peripheral part of the coil mounted on the coil support base and cools the coil from the inner surface side by passing a coolant through the inside of the cooling pipe.
SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING CASTINGS DURING THERMAL TREATMENT
A system for supporting castings during thermal treatments, such as solution heat treatment, quenching and aging, that includes a tray defining a horizontal base plane and having a plurality of tray openings therethrough, and a fixture extending over one or more of the tray openings. The fixture is formed by a plurality of support plates oriented vertically with lower portions extending across the tray opening and top edges extending above the tray opening with shaped profiles along the lengths thereof. The plurality of support plates form an open lattice having a plurality of top edges that together define an open support surface that is substantially complementary with an underside surface of a casting and configured to loosely support the casting atop the lattice and align the casting in space above the tray opening.
Automatic heat treatment method for metal ring
In an alignment stocker having an opening and plural shelf members, metal rings are pushed between the plural shelf members. The meta rings are deformed into an approximately polygonal shape to pass through the opening, in an arranged State of the metal rings, by pressing and holding from insides thereof, and are extracted from the opening. Using a heat treatment jig, which has the same opening as that of the shelf member and enables the metal rings to be mounted parallel to each other in a vertical direction and to be spaced the predetermined interval from each other, the metal rings held from the insides thereof in the arranged state, are inserted from the opening of the heat treatment jig into the heat treatment jig, are mounted in the heat treatment jig by releasing the inside holding, and then are heated and extracted from the shelf members.
HEAT TREATMENT JIG AND HEAT TREATMENT JIG ASSEMBLY APPARATUS
A jig frame and a wire mesh tray are reliably and simply fixed, and the wire mesh tray is simply replaced. A heat treatment jig includes a jig frame having on an upper surface side thereof an opening and a wire mesh tray having an upper end portion that abuts on an upper end portion of the jig frame. The wire mesh tray is detachably mounted on the jig frame by a plurality of clips. The clips grip the upper end portion of the jig frame and the upper end portion of the wire mesh tray.
Support frame for a method for sintering a body, in particular for watchmaking
A support frame for a sintering step of a method for producing a part, in particular for watchmaking, from a green body having an initial shape, the body shrinking from the initial shape to a final shape during the sintering step, the support frame having at least one face for supporting the body during the sintering step, wherein the geometry of the supporting face is in relief and configured to support the body from its initial shape into its final shape, so that it retains its shape and proportions in line with a shrinkage coefficient related to the sintering operation. The disclosure further relates to a sintering method using this support frame.
