ADJUSTABLE BATHROOM HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY
An adjustable bathroom handrail assembly is provided with a pair of elongate vertical handles with mounting hardware to mount to an upright support surface and spaced apart from the upright support surface. An adjustable horizontal bar extends between the pair of vertical handles, and a locking mechanism connects the at least one adjustable horizontal bar and one of the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism is located at an intersection of the horizontal bar and the one of the elongate vertical handles. A method for installing and adjusting wall-mount hardware installs a pair of elongate vertical handles to an upright support surface. The ends of a horizontal bar are installed onto the pair of elongate vertical handles. A locking mechanism on the horizontal bar is disengaged to adjust the horizontal bar to a location along the pair of elongate vertical handles.
Rotating bath lift
Disclosed is a bath lift with a rotating seat assembly to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The rotating seat includes an assembly that can be raised or lowered using a DC powered linear actuator. The linear actuator will also move a backrest from an upright position to a reclined position. A controller includes logic to prevent operation should the batteries have insufficient power to raise the seat assembly. Slip resistant padding is comprised of medical-grade, closed cell, molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water and reduces the risk of skin tears.
Shower spray chair apparatus
A shower spray chair apparatus for assisted washing for elderly or disabled people includes a chair back and a chair bottom coupled to a chair frame. An inlet tube is coupled to an inlet aperture of the chair back to feed water into a back cavity of the chair back and at least one connector tube joins the back cavity to a bottom cavity of the chair bottom. The chair back and the chair bottom each a plurality of spray holes to deliver water from the back cavity and the bottom cavity, respectively, and a plurality of through holes to prevent water from pooling. A plurality of legs is coupled to the chair bottom.
Bathing Chair Assembly
A bathing chair assembly includes a chair that is positionable in a shower for a user to sit thereon. The chair is foraminous to pass water therethrough for bathing. A hose is fluidly coupled to the chair and the hose is fluid attachable to a shower head in the shower for receiving water therefrom. In this way the chair sprays the water for bathing the user when the user is sitting in the chair. A pump is coupled to the chair to increase the pressure of the water being sprayed outwardly from the chair. A reservoir is coupled to the chair and the reservoir contains a fluid soap. The reservoir releases the fluid soap into the chair to release a mixture of the fluid soap and the water for bathing.
HINGED BATHTUB BENCH
A bench assembly can be for use in a bathtub for showering. The bench assembly can comprise a frame that is configured to sit within a bathtub. A bench can be coupled to the frame. A pivotable platform assembly can comprise a platform support structure pivotably coupled to the frame and a platform coupled to the platform support structure. The pivotable platform assembly can be configured to bias against an upper rim of the bathtub.
Supportive Device for Shelves, Seats and Steps in Wet Construction Areas
A structurally supportive device for constructing a weight-bearing feature in a wet area of a building, such as but not limited to a shelf, seat or step in a shower, bath, tub, sauna, spa or swimming pool, comprising a triangular horizontal support surface with first, second, and third edges, wherein the first and the second edges form a right angle; a vertical presentation surface depending down from the third edge; a horizontal support lip along a bottom edge of the vertical presentation surface; and attachment tabs protruding from the first and second edges, with each tab running at least two-thirds the length of the first or second edge; wherein the tabs protrude sufficiently far to be received into a slot formed into a wall surface finishing material but not so far as to penetrate a waterproof membrane or a wall board, and wherein the horizontal support surface and vertical presentation surface are configured to receive a feature finishing material such as tile, stone or solid surface material.
Bath transfer chair
A transfer apparatus for receiving the chair seat of a wheelchair and supporting the chair seat in the base of a washing enclosure. The transfer apparatus has a chair support member including a chair support track section that can be positioned in the washing enclosure base, a bridge portion with a bridge track section that is movably mounted to the chair support member. The transfer apparatus includes a lock system usable to secure the bridge portion in an in-use position and engaged with the wheelchair. A first lock inhibits rotational motion of the bridge portion. The first lock includes a retractable locking member that is biased to an extended, locking position. A second lock is usable to prevent longitudinal separation of the bridge portion and the wheelchair. The first and second lock can be automatically engaged when the bridge portion is moved to the in-use position.
Extendable shower seat
An extendable shower seat. The extendable shower seat includes a chair having a back portion and a seat portion, wherein the back portion is perpendicularly affixed to a rear side of the seat portion. A frame is affixed to the lower side of the seat portion and a plurality of legs are affixed to the frame. A pair of sidewalls are each pivotally affixed to opposing lateral sides of the seat portion about a hinge, wherein the pair of sidewalls can pivot about the hinge when a button disposed on the hinge is actuated, and remain locked in the selected position when the button is released.

BATHING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A bathing assistance apparatus for use within either a shower or a bathtub. The apparatus includes a seat with a base portion, a back-rest portion, an upper surface and a lower surface, and the seat is configured to support a user atop the upper surface. The seat support assembly includes a base member and the seat support assembly is mounted to the lower surface of the seat. The seat support assembly further includes laterally opposed biased locking members as well as a ratcheting mechanism for selectively altering the inclination of the seat relative to the support assembly. The apparatus further includes a support platform, the support platform is positioned beneath the seat support assembly and is detachably engageable from the seat support assembly using the laterally opposed and biased locking members. The support assembly is operable to support the seat and the seat support assembly.
