ULTRA-THIN ULTRA-HIGH STRENGTH STEEL WIRE, WIRE ROD AND METHOD OF PRODUCING WIRE ROD
The present invention reveals an ultra-thin ultra-high strength steel wire, a wire rod for an ultra-thin ultra-high strength steel wire and its producing method. The chemical components of the wire rod comprise in percentage by mass: C 0.90˜0.96%, Si 0.12˜0.30%, Mn 0.30˜0.65%, Cr 0.10˜0.30%, Al≤0.004%, Ti≤0.001%, Cu≤0.01%, Ni≤0.01%, S≤0.01%, P≤0.01%, O≤0.0006%, N≤0.0006%, and the balance is Fe and unavoidable impurity elements. The wire rod for the ultra-thin ultra-high strength steel wire may be used as a base material for producing the ultra-thin ultra-high strength steel wire having a diameter in a range of 50˜60 μm and a tensile strength larger than or equal to 4500 MPa.
Method for preparing a nickel-based alloy
In a method for preparing a nickel-based alloy, an electrode is produced by VIM, VOF or VLF, heat-treated in a furnace between 500 and 1300° C. for 10 to 336 hours to reduce stresses and aging, the heat-treatment being conducted for at least 10 hours and at most 48 hours at 1000° C. to 1300° C., and cooled to between room temperature and less than 900° C., then remelted using ESR at 3.0 to 10 kg/minute to form an ESR block which is cooled to between room temperature and less than 900° C., and remelted again using VAR at 3.0 to 10 kg/minute and a remelting rate fluctuation range of less than 15%, preferably 10%, ideally 5%; the remelted VAR block is heat-treated between 500 and 1250° C. for 10 to 336 hours, then shaped into the desired product shape and dimension by hot or cold forming.
NICKEL ALLOY HAVING GOOD RESISTANCE TO CORROSION AND HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS
A nickel alloy includes (in wt. %) Ni 50-55%, Cr 17-21%, Mo>0-9%, W 0-9%, Nb 1-5.7%, Ta>0-4.7%, Ti 0.1-3.0%, Al 0.4-4.0%, Co max. 3.0%, Mn max. 0.35%, Si max. 0.35%, Cu max. 0.23%, C 0.001-0.045%, S max. 0.01%, P 0.001-0.02%, B 0.001-0.01%, the remainder Fe and the conventional process-related impurities, wherein the following relations are provided: Nb+Ta 1-5.7% (1), Al+Ti>1.2-5% (2), Mo+W 3-9% (3), where Nb, Ta, Al and Ti are the concentration of the elements in question in wt. %.
HOT-WORK DIE STEEL AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present application provides a hot-work die steel and a preparation method thereof, wherein the chemical constituents of the hot-work die steel in mass percentage are as follows: C: 0.20-0.32 wt %, Si: ≤0.5 wt %, Mn: ≤0.5 wt %, Cr: 1.5-2.8 wt %, Mo: 1.5-2.5 wt %, W: 0.5-1.2 wt %, Ni: 0.5-1.6 wt %, V: 0.15-0.7 wt %, Nb: 0.01-0.1 wt %, and a balance of iron, wherein an alloying degree is 5-7%; a tensile strength of the hot-work die steel at 700° C. is 560-700 MPa; a value of hardness of the hot-work die steel at room temperature is 32-38 HRC after holding at 700° C. for 3-5 h; and the hot-work die steel has an elongation of 14% to 16% at room temperature, a percentage reduction of area of 48% to 65%, and an impact toughness of 52-63 J at room temperature. The hot-work die steel of the present application has an excellent thermal stability as well as a good plasticity and a toughness at room temperature.

LARGE-SIZED HIGH-NB SUPERALLOY INGOT AND SMELTING PROCESS THEREOF
Disclosed in this application are a large-sized high-Nb superalloy ingot and a smelting process thereof. The smelting process includes: vacuum induction melting to prepare a plurality of vacuum induction melting ingots with the same composition which are used for preparing electroslag electrodes with the same number as the vacuum induction melting ingots for use in electroslag remelting, preparing a consumable electrode from the prepared consumable electroslag electrodes, and performing vacuum consumable arc remelting for a plurality of times by using the consumable electroslag electrodes as raw material. A large-sized high-Nb superalloy ingot having a weight of 15 tons or above and a diameter of 800 mm or above can be prepared from such process.
