Textiles and Garments Having Thermoreflective Material
Aspects herein are directed to a textile comprising at least one compressed portion, at least one uncompressed portion, and a deposit of thermo-reflective material on at least the compressed portion. Other aspects herein are directed to a method of manufacturing a textile or garment having a deposit of thermo-reflective material.
RAZOR BLADE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a razor blade coating by a physical vapor deposition method through performing a deposition with a single composite target composed of dissimilar materials with their area ratio defined to be varied in the single composite target in the direction of transferring the razor blade subject to the deposition, thereby forming a single layer in which the composition ratio of the dissimilar materials gradually changes in the thickness direction of the coating layer to improve the durability of the razor blade coating layer.
Vacuum-coating system, and method for coating a strip-type material
A method and a vacuum-coating system (10) for coating a strip-shaped material (11), in particular made of metal, are disclosed. Thereby, the strip-shaped material (11) is moved over a conveying section (12) in a transport direction (T) and vacuum-coated within a coating chamber (14) in which a vacuum is applied. When viewed in the transport direction (T) of the strip-shaped material (11), at least one trimming shear (38) is arranged upstream of the coating chamber (14), with which the strip-shaped material (11) is trimmed at at least one strip edge, preferably at both strip edges, in order to produce a constant width for the strip-shaped material (11) over its longitudinal extension.
Laser-contrasted golf club head and manufacturing process
A golf club head having a laser-generated features to create contrast on the club face of the golf club head. The club face includes a central region, a toe region, and a heel region. The central region includes a first plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the central region, a width-intersection coverage of the central region, and a surface-area coverage of the central region. The toe region includes a second plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the toe region, a width-intersection coverage of the toe region, and a surface-area coverage of the toe region. The heel region includes a third plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the heel region, a width-intersection coverage of the heel region, and a surface-area coverage of the heel region.
Brake Disk and Method of Making Same
A brake disk or drum has at least one working surface which opposes a braking member such as a brake pad or shoe. A plurality of spaced, raised island formations are provided across the working surface, with channels extending between the island formations. Each raised island formation has an outer surface which contacts a brake pad or brake shoe during braking.
Method for producing aluminum platter
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method for producing an aluminum platter, which can improve the smoothness of the substrate surface before a magnetic layer is formed thereon and can provide a hard disk substrate that can be processed into a medium with a high yield. In another aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method for producing an aluminum platter, including the following steps 1 and 2: step 1: bringing a composition containing a compound (component A) that has at least one structure represented by the following formula (I) and has a molecular weight between 50 and 100,000 inclusive into contact with a substrate surface of a Ni—P plated aluminum alloy substrate; and step 2: forming a magnetic layer on the substrate obtained in the step 1. ##STR00001##
Textiles and garments having thermo-reflective material
Aspects herein are directed to a textile comprising at least one compressed portion, at least one uncompressed portion, and a deposit of thermo-reflective material on at least the compressed portion. Other aspects herein are directed to a method of manufacturing a textile or garment having a deposit of thermo-reflective material.
METHOD FOR PROTECTION AGAINST CORROSION
The present invention relates to a method for the protection of a hafnium-free, nickel-based monocrystalline superalloy part against corrosion and oxidation. The method comprises at least the following steps of: manufacturing a hafnium-free, nickel-based monocrystalline superalloy part (1), depositing on the part a first hafnium-free sublayer (2), depositing, on the first sublayer (2), a second hafnium-doped sublayer (3), depositing, on the second sublayer (3), a third hafnium-free sublayer (4), sandblasting the third sublayer (4) to at least partially separate the third sublayer (4) and increase the surface roughness of an upper sub-layer formed by the second sublayer (3) and at least partially by the third sublayer (4), performing oxidation treatment so as to obtain at the surface a layer of hafnium-doped oxidised material (5), depositing a thermal barrier layer (6) on the layer of oxidised material (5).
