Device and method for tunable vapor condensed nanolenses
A method of forming nanolenses for imaging includes providing an optically transparent substrate having a plurality of particles disposed on one side thereof. The optically transparent substrate is located within a chamber containing therein a reservoir holding a liquid solution. The liquid solution is heated to form a vapor within the chamber, wherein the vapor condenses on the substrate to form nanolenses around the plurality of particles. The particles are then imaged using an imaging device. The imaging device may be located in the same device that contains the reservoir or a separate imaging device.

A reactor for plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition includes a plasma duct for containing one or more substrates to be coated by ions; an arc discharge generation system for generating a flow of electrons through the plasma duct from a proximal end toward a distal end of the plasma duct; a gas inlet coupled to the distal end for receiving a reactive gas; a gas outlet coupled to the proximal end for removing at least a portion of the reactive gas to generate a flow of the reactive gas through the plasma duct from the distal end toward the proximal end, to generate the ions from collisions between the electrons and the reactive gas; and a separating baffle positioned for restricting flow of the reactive gas out of the plasma duct to maintain a high pressure in the plasma duct to increase rate of deposition of the ions onto the substrates.

Fiber cloth having functional composite particles and preparation method therefor
The present application relates to fiber cloth having functional composite particles and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises: placing a solid metal block consisting of functional metal particles into a crucible using an evaporation and condensation process, and heating and evaporating the same into a vacuum physical vapor deposition (PVD) process furnace for condensation; depositing PVD ceramic layers on the outer surfaces of the functional metal particles under the condensed state using a PVD process to form the functional composite particles; and screening the functional composite particles by means of a particle filter and accelerating the particles to bombard the fiber cloth, thereby implanting the functional composite particles into the fiber cloth to form the fiber cloth having the functional composite particles. The functional composite particles in the present application can reduce contact between the internal functional metal particles and external oxygen, slowly release ionic metal ions of the functional metal particles, and prolong the action time of the functional metal particles. According to the present application, by implanting the functional composite particles into the fiber cloth, the fiber cloth with a long lasting antibacterial effect can be obtained.

The present disclosure provides a powder-atomic-layer-deposition device with knocker, which mainly includes a vacuum chamber, a shaft seal, a drive unit and a knocker. The drive unit is connected to the rear wall of the vacuum chamber via the shaft seal, for driving the vacuum chamber to rotate. The shaft seal includes an outer tube and an inner tube, wherein the inner tube is disposed within the containing space of the outer tube. The inner tube is disposed with a gas-extracting pipeline and a gas-inlet pipeline therein, wherein the gas-extracting pipeline is for gas extraction of the vacuum chamber, the gas-inlet pipeline is for transferring a precursor gas into the vacuum chamber. The knocker and the vacuum chamber are adjacent to each other, for knocking the vacuum chamber to prevent powders within the reacting space from sticking to the inner surface of the vacuum chamber.
