GRAIN-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GRAIN-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET

A grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a steel sheet 1; an intermediate layer 4 containing Si and O, arranged on the steel sheet; and an insulation coating 3 arranged on the intermediate layer 4, in which the intermediate layer 4 contains a metal phosphide 5, a thickness of the intermediate layer 4 is 4 nm or more, and an abundance of the metal phosphide 5 present is 1% to 30% by cross-sectional area fraction in a cross section of the intermediate layer 4.

Electrical steel sheet

An electrical steel sheet (1) includes a base material (2) of electrical steel, and an insulating film (3) formed on a surface of the base material (2). Three conditions (1.83[Fe]/[P]+n.sub.M[M]/[P]3.6, 0.6n.sub.M[M]/[P]2.4, and 0.63[Fe]/[P]2.4) are satisfied in a region of 50 area % or more of a cross section parallel to a thickness direction of the insulating film. [Fe] denotes a proportion (atom %) of Fe, [P] denotes a proportion (atom %) of P, [M] denotes a proportion (atom %) of each of Al, Zn, Mg and Ca, and n.sub.M denotes a valence of each of Al, Zn, Mg and Ca.

Electrical steel sheet

An electrical steel sheet (1) includes a base material (2) of electrical steel, and an insulating film (3) formed on a surface of the base material (2). Three conditions (1.83[Fe]/[P]+n.sub.M[M]/[P]3.6, 0.6n.sub.M[M]/[P]2.4, and 0.63[Fe]/[P]2.4) are satisfied in a region of 50 area % or more of a cross section parallel to a thickness direction of the insulating film. Chromium-free coating for the electrical insulation of grain-oriented electrical steel strip

The present invention relates to an aqueous composition based on phosphates, aluminum ions and other metal ions, in particular manganese ions and zinc ions, as well as silicates, siloxanes or silanes, for providing anticorrosive coatings on metal surfaces, in particular for the electrical insulation of grain-oriented electrical steel strip. For the desired functionality, the compositions according to the invention contain the constituents mentioned in a prescribed ratio to one another. The invention also relates to a method for coating the surface of a metallic workpiece by using the aqueous compositions, wherein the method produces outstanding results, in particular on grain-oriented electrical steel strip, with regard to corrosion protection and adherence.

Chromium-free coating for the electrical insulation of grain-oriented electrical steel strip

The present invention relates to an aqueous composition based on phosphates, aluminum ions and other metal ions, in particular manganese ions and zinc ions, as well as silicates, siloxanes or silanes, for providing anticorrosive coatings on metal surfaces, in particular for the electrical insulation of grain-oriented electrical steel strip. For the desired functionality, the compositions according to the invention contain the constituents mentioned in a prescribed ratio to one another. The invention also relates to a method for coating the surface of a metallic workpiece by using the aqueous compositions, wherein the method produces outstanding results, in particular on grain-oriented electrical steel strip, with regard to corrosion protection and adherence.

Multilayer coating

A multilayer coating obtained by carrying out the steps of (1) applying a ZnNi layer to a substrate material, in particular to a steel; (2) carrying out a first heat treatment in a temperature range from 135-300 C., preferably from 185-220 C., for a time period of at least 4 hours, preferentially of at least 23 hours; (3) applying a metal-pigmented top coat to the ZnNi layer; and (4) carrying out a second heat treatment in a temperature range from 150-250 C., preferably from 180-200 C., for a time period of at least 10 minutes, prefer-ably of at least 20 minutes, preferentially of at least 30 minutes.

Multilayer coating

A multilayer coating obtained by carrying out the steps of (1) applying a ZnNi layer to a substrate material, in particular to a steel; (2) carrying out a first heat treatment in a temperature range from 135-300 C., preferably from 185-220 C., for a time period of at least 4 hours, preferentially of at least 23 hours; (3) applying a metal-pigmented top coat to the ZnNi layer; and (4) carrying out a second heat treatment in a temperature range from 150-250 C., preferably from 180-200 C., for a time period of at least 10 minutes, prefer-ably of at least 20 minutes, preferentially of at least 30 minutes.

Disclosed are a coated aluminum material for joining having an adhesion layer on a surface thereof and including a coated aluminum material and a silica-containing film formed on a surface of the aluminum material, the silica-containing film including 0.5 to 35 mass % of a silane coupling agent and having Si and P contents of 2 to 60, and 0.1 to 6.0 mg/m.sup.2, respectively, and P/Si mass ratio of P content and Si content of 0.02 to 0.15, and a coated aluminum material capable of producing the coated aluminum material for joining, and an aluminum resin composite material obtained using the coated aluminum material for joining.
